  1. I was thinking this, but what would you do with the throttle bodies ? Can they be completely dismantled including the plastics.
  2. Need my plenum and front water pipes redone as they have glazed over in the last 5 years. Now that my engine is done i need these fixed up quickly.
  3. Little cleanup of the fuel rail ready for fitting tomorrow.
  4. Few hours tonight carefully assembling the turbos and pipes which are now fitted in the correct order.
  5. Trying to figure what goes where, i now seem to be missing the oil feed bolts 😞
  6. Cleaned up all my turbo oil feed pipes
  7. Found my CAS !
  8. And we have finally started sorting shit out for this engine. Workshop is a bit of a mess but managed to clear a few area's to see things laid out. Also missing a CAS, but along with a few missing bolts it may have been left behind at Jimmers. Few bolts missing from whats needed but i'm sure they will show up.
  9. Collection of manuals stores in the downloads section of the club : https://www.300zx-owners.club/files/
  10. Not there yet. Few things needing done prior to dropping the build in. But can't wait to get started. Unfortunately few house hold duties to take care of this weekend first. 😩
  11. What royal cunts, should have been an advisory the first time round.
  12. Time for some zed shots when its out in the sun, for the first time in a few years.
  13. To get the engine to the garage we had to push the zed out first over the stones and out into the street. Then I reversed the truck all the way to the garage to make it easier to get off the truck.
  14. It took a little bit of shuffling, but the engine has now been off loaded into the garage.
  15. Yeh, I'm going to try and be there but not with the zed.
  16. Use a guy local to me as I have a Link G4 Ecu.
  17. Purchased from an old club member about 8 years ago, fitted then removed again after my last zed was destroyed.
  18. And its home !! Finally after a long wait, the heart of my zed has arrived home ready to be fitted again. Although she needs to sit patently in my L200 Truck for one more night. Tomorrows plan is to get this offloaded from the truck and put on the engine stand ready for the rest of assembly. Lots to do still before that happens as i need to get the plenum professionally cleaned and polished again. Also need a new gearbox and EFI harness, which i'll post about separately.
  19. So i have : Wiseco Pistons, Eagle Rods, Nismo 740cc Injectors. Also upgraded the turbos, intercoolers and other oil coolers, new fly wheel and clutch. Link G4 ECU. Also a newish 99 spec gearbox, but its been sitting for nearly 7 years.
  20. And home, what a trip!
