OFF SIDE HEADLIGHT
The method generally to separate them is to stick the full unit in an oven to soften the bonding used. There is also about 8 metal bands that hold the glass to the plastic.

OFF SIDE HEADLIGHT
Nope, The glass is bonded to the plastic of the fitting, there is 4 nuts on the underside to remove the fitting. The whole unit can come out without fully removing the bumper but you will need to remove fogs / indicators to get to the bolts.

My house is a building site --- again
Where do i start ? Just as covid hit it became apparent that we had drainage and settlement issues with our property in Troon. The front of the house decided that it would detach partially from the rest of the house and due to a cracked underground pipe and extensive cracking throughout the property we proceeded to get the insurance involved to get it sorted out. Insurance was covered and the exterior and interior of the building is to get fully decorated as well as the external brick work stitched back together. All happening at the same time we have external render to get done, dampness inside to be fixed, cracked coving, cracked water pipes discovered in the rear of the house under the kitchen which is letting water in.. So this is the drainage situation which i dug up last weekend : As you can see loads of issues that we discovered but who can spot the various types of pipes used. Then.. Always when you get work done you think "now's the time to get this done" and we took upon ourselves to get the living room decorated again and fix the bad join in the ceiling plaster work. as my main room used to be two rooms with separate lowered ceilings. The join in the ceiling was never properly fixed as each room at some point in its history has new ceilings installed over the old. So this was my living room yesterday morning : And this is how is looked after the first ceiling came down : Then a few hours later the second and original ceiling was off too. I'm doing most of the building work myself until this morning when i was cleaning and removing the old nails from the timbers i find this : We have literally opened a can of worms. ? Seems many of the structural beams have wood worm and although it all looks old and likely dead many of the beams will now need replaced. And this was not even part of the insurance so bad luck to us i suppose. Anyone had to deal with woodworm in floor joists and whats the best way to deal with it ?
