  1. Sure this guy is just a steel work fabricator - but i have emailed him to check. Thanks
  2. About to give up zed life over a bloody plenum. This is so frustrating, burned through £40 of various polishing wheels and sand paper. All the scratches are near enough gone but its a dull grey with loads or dark clouds all over it.
  3. I've managed to get the main parts smooth enough i'm thinking of just getting these powder coated.
  4. I hate polishing, manages to get these more or less smooth with a air sander and polishing kit but can't get them anywhere near shiny. No way in hell am i attempting the plenum.
  5. I was going to powder coat mine but how would you do the throttle bodies?
  6. My plenum was previously polished, and has very badly tarnished, tried to give it a clean but it still looks terrible. Its the only part i'm not good with and was looking for a company to do it for me.
  7. Plenum looks spotless, was that sprayed silver or was it shot blasted to clean it up ?
  8. Also cleaned this pipe up which connects as the back of the engine. Stripped back to a bare finish and just need to give it a protective painting now.
  9. Time to clean up my front water pipes, they were previously polished but had 5 years of tarnish and gunk on them. So i sanded them down as a first stage and plan to get the polished again shortly.
  10. Still a work in progress but its the furthest its been from my garage in a few years nearly.
  11. I've got as far as putting them in two separate containers so they don't get mixed up.🤪
  12. New fuel hose arrived so time to get the fuel rail assembled again. New Nismo 740's and new caps to keep them from moving.
  13. Why are throttle bodies overly complicated?
  14. I was thinking this, but what would you do with the throttle bodies ? Can they be completely dismantled including the plastics.
  15. Need my plenum and front water pipes redone as they have glazed over in the last 5 years. Now that my engine is done i need these fixed up quickly.
  16. Little cleanup of the fuel rail ready for fitting tomorrow.
  17. Few hours tonight carefully assembling the turbos and pipes which are now fitted in the correct order.
  18. Trying to figure what goes where, i now seem to be missing the oil feed bolts 😞
  19. Cleaned up all my turbo oil feed pipes
  20. Found my CAS !
  21. And we have finally started sorting shit out for this engine. Workshop is a bit of a mess but managed to clear a few area's to see things laid out. Also missing a CAS, but along with a few missing bolts it may have been left behind at Jimmers. Few bolts missing from whats needed but i'm sure they will show up.
