My zed is here is spirit.

They won't let us round the front with the rest so we are round the back.

Don't have my zed with me so I drove down in my truck. Taking full advantage I've loaded up with a few spares to take to the AGM. Matimoto / Koyo Radiator, boxed. Front nose panel in blue. Front 4 scoop nose panel, never painted (new) Set of Targa shades. Aluminium clocks cover. Wireing specialalities Loom. (left this at home but still up for grabs) All open to offers on the day.

Well I'm off to watch a movie, see you all tomorrow.

Nearly there, Issue with the water stat being the wrong model so need to wait again before I fit the water pipes.

Throttle bodies assembled again. Also added a few spare shims as it actually lines up the springs better. Few more bolts missing so on the hunt again.

We update on my water pipes which i sent off to get polished. Should be getting pics back shortly of the plenum too.

Anyone running wide band sensors, if so where did you place them ? Is having them at the factory o2 location bad for them being too close to the turbos ?

Time to strip the steering column cowl and see if you can disconnect the ignition. Depending on the series there is a few designs of ignition, hopefully you get lucky and its just a plugin job Series 1 i believe was hard soldered, below picture is from series 2 and 3/4, white plug is from a series 3/4 and the black was a series 2 that i assisted in breaking. Start the zed pull the plug and see if it stays on.

Has it got an Alarm with a remote start feature ? Only 2 things i can think of that can interfere with the ignition are a Turbo Timer and Alarm.

Yeh, Well the black pully that attaches to the water pump.

Don't you hate it when you lose a part. mmm, whats missing :

Central Locking : Yes (drivers door locks both sides) Remote central locking : No prior to 1994 series 3/4 Most original fobs have likely been lost too so lots of people fit after market toad alarms or other devices.

New Oil Cooler fitted.

It can, but easier doing it now when the engine is out. I had to remove the air con condenser unit under the dash to get the old loom out. This would be tricky on most zeds as you need to degass the air con.

Lastly started to fit the new engine loom and get it seated nice. I like how it has updated sensor plugs included, below is the IAT sensor.
