Vg30 engine tech help.
It is an interference engine, but very occasionally lady luck plays a part even with a snapped cambelt. If the cambelt has jumped one tooth but is otherwise sound you should be OK. Check the cambelt tensioner to see if it is doing its job. If you can get the engine to turn over on the starter then a compression test procedure will reveal bent valves (assuming the piston/bores and the head gaskets are good).

differential
Nissan call that part (5) a "Tube differential oil cooler" and it is connected in series with the main cooler (24) and hot oil flows through it and the main cooler. The system is included in Euro/UK spec cars as Nissan considered the potential for high speed driving in Europe required additional cooling. Jspecs don't have the system and for the most part it is redundant unless you drive at very high speeds (on track days for example). For completeness, these are the FSM pages on the operation and electronics:

What did you do to your zed today?
Very neat solution Joel. I also have a base level controller for my JL HD900/5 amp. I fitted mine on the steering column shroud next to the Sony remote commander for the EMPEG MP3 player. It's suprising how often I adjust the bass levels since I installed it - a very useful control for quick track to track adjustment.

Hi Guys, I am back!!!!!!!! :)
Welcome back James, as the Eagles sang "You can check out any time but you can never leave". It's suprising the number of people who sell their Z32s only to regret doing so and then go on to buy another! Great colour BTW.

Stereo ideas
This is a nexus 7 tablet install. Of the type that Vig (sumshiftyguy) started but didn't complete before he sold the car. I watched him hack up the inside of the dash mounting area for the modified radio surround to make things fit which wasn't very pretty. The other thing I noticed was the terrible reflections off the screen from ambient light.
