  1. That's the spirit Stephen!
  2. Do you have an idea of what it costs to attend Craig?
  3. I don't, but if you can wait a few days I'll dig out a spare plenum and post a before and after picture.
  4. Whilst you are going through all the heartache Nick, might be worth getting something like this to protect the lovely paintwork: http://www.airflow-uk.co.uk/Wing-Cover.html Save you from being even more p*#@^d off than you already are.
  5. You can check them with a fused +12v source (battery) and a multimeter set to continuity testing. These pages from the FSM show the standard relays, their functions and connections: el-5-6.pdf Before you buy any of them ask on here first as you may be able to get working s/h ones. Their part#'s should be printed/stamped on the upper body of the relay.
  6. Well it's a lovely part of the world and the weather forecast is:
  7. You won't be alone on that one Nick...
  8. Another '89 OEM spoiler hidden in Nissan's warehouses finds a home! https://www.goodwood.com/sports/motorsport/breakfast-club/ and "Register your car" -> "Create new account" then complete "My Vehicles" then apply to display at the BC of your choice.
  9. 25230-C9963 is good (alternative part# 25230-79964).
  10. Power supply routing which indentifies relays and the circuits they control: el-10-11-1.pdf and diagram of fuse block/junction box identifying relays:
  11. For early style injectors ('90 - '94): https://conceptzperformance.com/nissan-infiniti-nissan-oem-300zx-fuel-injector-o-ring-90-96-upper-16618-10v05_p_2585.php https://conceptzperformance.com/nissan-infiniti-nissan-oem-300zx-fuel-injector-o-ring-90-94tt90-92na93cv-lower-16618-10v00_p_2587.php https://conceptzperformance.com/nissan-infiniti-nissan-oem-16635-10v10-lower-plenum-fuel-rail-insulator-seal-early-style-nissan-300zx-90-94tt-90-92na-93cv-z32_p_2589.php
  12. A bit beyond a fashion statment - take at their corporate website: http://www.k-sportracing.com/aboutus.htm and their videos for their R&D, manufacturing and QC: http://www.k-sportracing.com/video.htm Their BBKs are used extensively in competitive events all over the world with success. When it comes to replacing parts when worn - discs and pads can be replaced with AP Racing, Ferodo, Mintex, Pagid etc. Sure they are a cheaper option than say AP Racing and Brembo GT BBK's but they do the job nonetheless.
  13. Akebono brakes are very heavy (if that bothers you). Why not consider the Ksport? They are available in the UK, cheaper and lighter. https://www.dcperformance.co.uk/cheap/649906/nissan/k-sport-front-big-brake-kit/ni12-356x32.html
  14. Testing was done on both, with a Cd of 0.31 for NA's and 0.32 for spoilered TT's. I don't have a picture of a TT being tested (nor for that matter 2+2s).
  15. For reference this picture shows a SWB during wind tunnel development - note the smooth airflow.
  16. Very nice - well done! BTW your rear wheels need to be swapped side to side.
  17. Best wishes on your Birthday Chris! P.S. Couldn't find you an Apache so I hope this is OK!
  18. Have you checked the ignition relay (see diagram I posted above)? It supplies power to the Windows, Turn and HiCAS circuits. The ignition relay is located on the fuse/junction block behind the drivers footwell panel - see attachment: FOLDOUT.pdf You should also check for water damage to the fuse/junction block (from a split or disconnected targa drain pipe) which is a common source of electrical problems in that area.
  19. You have got your ignition key in and turned to the accessory position? The diagrams in the attachment show the power supply routing to make things clearer. Some circuits work all the time (hazards for example) others require the key in and turned to work (for example windows and indicators operated by the stalk). el-10-11.pdf
  20. Ooh, now that is interesting...
  21. A potential issue with refitting HID's after a test may be with insurance companies and loss adjusters in the event of an accident. They will always look for ways to minimise their liability (pay out) of a claim. For example, if they consider that non standard lighting was a contributory factor in an accident at night time. It would be good to hear from someone in the car insurance business.
  22. What did the place who skimmed the discs have to say?
