  4. Information here: http://www.twinturbo.net/nissan/300zx/forums/general/view/1764556/settings-for-the-greddy-profec-b-spec-II.html and within that thread: http://twinturbo.net/net/viewmsg.aspx?forum=technical&msg_id=920063
  5. Under the new MOT rules introduced this year you may have the car failed with aftermarket HIDs fitted. Worth checking beforehand. To answer your question, yes H3 kit is the type required for dipped beam. It is down to personal choice as to the Kelvin rating but 6000k is normally considered the highest to use.
  6. My apologies for not turning up today. I waited until after 5am this morning in the forlorn hope that somehow the weather forcasts might improve before deciding that I wouldn't make the journey and letting Howard know. For me, SJ is the best public show I attend each year as part of the Club and it is so disappointing that the weather went t!ts up for the one day the event was on. Hats off to those that made it. With luck next year's SJ as part of our 30th anniversary year will be one to remember.
  7. How high will the bids go in 5 days? https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1996-nissan-300zx-twin-turbo-4/ By way of comparison: https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1994-nissan-300zx-twin-turbo/
  8. Your relay setup is the same as mine (UK spec) - ignore the extra blue relay by the fuses. Check the earth harness connection to headlamp chassis (single wire) for the H3 bulb is in place.
  9. That VG30DE engine is out of Infinity J30. Note the orientation of the hoses and dipstick positions (arrowed) which are different to that when the engine is used in a NA Z32.
  10. Caught the last one to be visable in the UK on the 28th September '15 when we were on holiday in the west country. Had to wait until 3am in the morning but managed to get a reasonable picture of the event.
  11. And used in a truly inspirational and relevant context: [video=youtube_share;vi0Lbjs5ECI] Best wishes Chris.
  12. Yup, along with the Ashspec pipework - Q4 install.
  13. To aid hot starting when fuel can vapourise in the fuel lines, the ECU has a fuel temperature sensor. When it goes above the temperature threshold (75C) the ECU signals the PRVR solenoid for ~30 seconds to increase fuel pressure at engine start.
  14. Did someone mention larger IC's...
  15. Good idea Dave, see above ^
  16. "30th" with Z logo replacing chequer pattern. White background with green wreath (30 years anniversary colour):
  17. This is how the "25th" looks printed "sticky side up" and fixed to the interior of my car with white background and silver wreath (25 years anniversary colour):
  18. 30th anniversary version:
  19. Brembo rear disc is 09.6912.10:
  20. Something to consider with the Mines ECU: http://www.twinturbo.net/nissan/300zx/forums/general/view/1492486/Very-aggressive-for-race-fuel-only--The-chip-cannot-be.html
  21. Already done Gary. I'll post up when I'm back from Switzerland next week.
