On a road trip for a forged engine.
How so? The stock ECU is way faster than is needed for what it's ask to do. It may lack sophistication in the sensors it is programmed to measure and react to but in raw processing power it is up to the mark. The Nistune board adds nothing more in processing capability.

If have a 16bit ECU then you will be limited to the Nistune approach (you can't socket a 16bit ECU for an EPROM). The Nistune Type 3 board is used with the mapping uploaded onto it with the Nistune software. Example of 16bit Nistune installed - https://conceptzperformance.com/nistune-300zx-ecu-upgrade-16-bit-z32-1003_p_8090.php You can see the 8bit and 16bit ECU types here for identification: https://www.specialtyz.com/300zx/ecu-socketing-service.html I would email Greg@SpecialityZ to discuss options before proceeding.

White UK 300 breaking
If you go for the 615cc or 740cc pintleless injectors you will also need the adapter kit: https://conceptzperformance.com/jim-wolf-technology-jwt-early-style-to-late-style-injector-fuel-rail-adapter-kit-w-connectors-nissan-300zx-90-96-z32-iz320-l2ead_p_12665.php (Apologies Luke)

Big Power + Big Brakes callout!!
This is a test between stock, upgraded and Stoptech BBK brakes on a 350Z and makes for interesting reading. https://www.zeckhausen.com/catalog/index.php?cPath=6446_6565 The important thing to remember is that the larger pads and discs that come with multi-piston calipers provide a greater swept area which means a greater area over which heat is generated. Because the total heat for a given stopping force is always the same, greater swept area means better heat dissipation and less brake fade. So, while a one-time emergency stop will not show much difference between a stock setup and a 6-piston BBK, the multi-piston caliper BBK design will be more resistant to fade over several hard stops in quick succession. Replacing the stock rubber lines with stainless lines is always worthwhile as over many years the rubber lines will start to ballon under pressure and reduce the brake feel. The BMC brace is worthwhile. If you don't have one fitted then get someone to stamp on the brake pedal whilst you observe the BMC - you will see it move a surprising amount as the fire wall flexes and in doing so reducing brake feel.
