Z32-zone's little shop of horrors
The collection of photos actually make a good visual checklist of places to look when inspecting a Z32.

Z32-zone's little shop of horrors
Sad to see abused and poorly maintained Z32's are also to be found in Japan: http://www.z32-zone.com/meintnance/dame/1-2.htm Cars that have been brought in to their workshop. The collection of photos actually make a good visual checklist of places to look when inspecting a Z32.

Are they still making them or just running down stocks? I know that Jim buys then from the states rather than sourcing them from over here.

Upgrading to a 95 harness - checklist
By going with a '95 harness you will also benefit from the switched live injector change Nissan made to the harness: http://www.twinturbo.net/nissan/300zx/forums/main/view/1045147/-Rehosted-images-.html Although perhaps less important with the later pintleless injectors like the 740's.

Goodwood Breakfast Club 07 Oct Japanese Sunday 2018
Take it from me it becomes pandemonium from 6:30am onwards. Unless you want to be half way around the Goodwood circuit (I don't) we need to there 6:30am prompt!

Rear ended at the weekend
Take the bumper off to see what has been damaged, most likely the bumper reinforcement bar will have been.

Goodwood Breakfast Club 07 Oct Japanese Sunday 2018
In my experience if we all arrive together at the entrance gate then the marshalls will try to keep us together as we are directed around the track to the parking point they want us to stop at. If we can organise a meeting point near to the circuit and set off together then we have a reasonable chance of displaying as a group.

Upgrading to a 95 harness - checklist
We are using this kit from JWT for the newer pintleless injectors like the Nismo 740cc's. http://www.jimwolftechnology.com/customer_part_detail.asp?PartID=517 IZ320-L2EAD_Z32_LATE_TO_EARLY_INJ_ADPT_KIT(1).pdf Available from SpecialityZ: https://www.specialtyz.com/300zx/jwt-injector-adapter-kit.html

Advice on locating parts please
Are you after a brake or clutch master cylinder, same for discs - front or rear? If you need part #'s you can look them up here: http://nissan4u.com/parts/300zx/ Be aware the above parts database is for UK/Euro and USA specs, but most parts are the same for Jspecs (RHD). If you want to double check then PM me your VIN and I will look them up for you in the Nissan FAST database. You can buy from Mike@MJP on here, or alternatively this UK online seller: https://www.allcarpartsfast.co.uk/

Rear lights and centre panel sealant
This works fine, compared to OEM sealant, easier to fix lights in place and when removing them. Doesn't damage the plastic of the lights and puts much less strain on the fixing studs as the units are mounted in place. https://www.toolstation.com/shop/p11002 Cut the nozzle to give a ~8mm bead.

Somwhere is says "speculates that Nissan is cooperating with Mercedes, and is allegedly planning to borrow a 2.0-liter four-cylinder from a German giant"

This is a gem
Until the car is inspected you don't know that. Just because there is salt on the roads in Cornwall dosn't mean that the owner(s) didn't take care of the car and keep it off the stuff, just like some of us do.

Fuel smell - Fuel Damper
If you are replacing the damper you should also replace the FPR: http://www.twinturbo.net/nissan/300zx/forums/general/view/2610744/Here-is-how-it-works.html

If the thermosat not opening then yes it would cause overheating as would the water pump failing. If the lower hose is cool(er) then that points to one or other but most likely the thermostat. This is is FSM diagram for the cooling circuit:
