Cambelt change
Minimum is cambelt, tensioner, water pump, thermostat, the two water outlet hoses and check for corrosion on the metal tubes they connect too. If the cambelt pulleys are running smooth without play I would leave them for the 120K service. Also change the fuel filter. Cambelt is the same for NA and TT: 13028-45P86 A 60K service kit looks like this: https://conceptzperformance.com/nissan-infiniti-czp-oem-60k-timing-belt-kit-nissan-300zx-z32-13001-0xx60_p_3850.php A 120K service kit looks like this: https://conceptzperformance.com/nissan-infiniti-czp-oem-120k-complete-timing-belt-kit-nissan-300zx-z32-13001-0xx12_p_3849.php A comprehensive 60K maintenance "how to": http://www.ttzd.com/tech/timingbelt/timingbelt.html

A bit lost?
I have to say I will miss the "what did you do" thread too Pete. I felt it gave a little bit of interesting daily trivia to follow on what people were doing with their cars. I imagine something like one might get on SM - news that is here today and gone tomorrow. I quess if everyone starts up a "journal" thread to record their minutiae of zed ownership things could get quite busy! BTW - I found that I could search the very lengthy thread perfectly well using google's "site:" search term. For example: Google - "What did you do" tyres site:http://www.300zx.co.uk

Front indicator bulbs and fittings
How are you intending to have an orange light for turn signal and a white light for side light?
-
Front indicator bulbs and fittings
One for side (or running lights in orange 5W) and one for indicator blinker 21W). You know that you can modify the 99 spec housing to take a '89 spec bulb holder? Make that the orange blinker and use the small Jspec fog light bulb for the side/running light).

JDM dipped beam bulbs???
Under the new MOT rules introduced this year you may have the car failed with aftermarket HIDs fitted. Worth checking beforehand. To answer your question, yes H3 kit is the type required for dipped beam. It is down to personal choice as to the Kelvin rating but 6000k is normally considered the highest to use.

Simply Japanese 2018
My apologies for not turning up today. I waited until after 5am this morning in the forlorn hope that somehow the weather forcasts might improve before deciding that I wouldn't make the journey and letting Howard know. For me, SJ is the best public show I attend each year as part of the Club and it is so disappointing that the weather went t!ts up for the one day the event was on. Hats off to those that made it. With luck next year's SJ as part of our 30th anniversary year will be one to remember.

MOT headlight help
Your relay setup is the same as mine (UK spec) - ignore the extra blue relay by the fuses. Check the earth harness connection to headlamp chassis (single wire) for the H3 bulb is in place.

- 1990 300zx na engine swap with 1993 na
That VG30DE engine is out of Infinity J30. Note the orientation of the hoses and dipstick positions (arrowed) which are different to that when the engine is used in a NA Z32.- Red moon tonight
Caught the last one to be visable in the UK on the 28th September '15 when we were on holiday in the west country. Had to wait until 3am in the morning but managed to get a reasonable picture of the event. - 1990 300zx na engine swap with 1993 na
