  1. One of the forum's great threads!
  2. They are bolted in place on tabs welded to the pipes.
  3. Despite the huge setbacks you have encountered Lee, you keep going. Very impressive to say the least. Watching you single handedly manhandling the heavy bits of your car with speed and precision makes me think you would have probably been pretty good at this!
  4. What - going from 2nd to 5th? Have you tried Redline MT-90? My gearbox became noticeably smoother after about 1000 mile run in.
  5. This is probably the flowchart. As you say 1st August '95 is the important date.
  6. Yes, this site seems to be running off the FAST database: https://nissan.epc-data.com/fairlady_z/ Put the full VIN (ie GCZ32-521756) into the search field.
  7. Personally I would leave it alone - the system is working. Why make more work for yourself? I just cleaned everything up with a brass wire brush and lightly oiled.
  8. Possibly, however the first one sold for £64.
  9. Not sure if this is the same item as above, but here is another one: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/323924203809
  10. When my car went for spraying I was kindly lent a spare driver's seat. The seat connector was different so I made up a small harness using male and female spade connectors. Not the prettiest but did the job.
  11. It was a bit wet! But will do it again in the dry, not one to leave off my bucket list without doing it properly.
  12. What did you have in mind?
  13. The screws may have imperial threads Mike. No 10 size is 0.19" diameter which is 4.826mm so will look like M5. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Install-Bay-Alpine-8-Piece-ISO-Mounting-Screws-Single-or-2-DIN-Radio/222644735209? Same kit here (although four are described as metric): https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Double-Din-Single-Din-Side-Fitting-Mounting-Installation-Screws-/132139159610?_trksid=p2385738.m4383.l4275.c10
  14. Watching your every move Simon!
  15. Speciality-Z in the US can supply either EPROMs or Nistune .BIN files for different configurations of mods: https://www.specialtyz.com/300zx/fueling-ecu/sz-ecu-chips.html Members here have successfully used SZ maps.
  16. Wonderful news Nick! Been a long journey (in more than one sense). Very much looking foward to the next steps!
  17. Best wishes on your Birthday Lee!
  18. Because the country has already voted on the matter in 2016. The (Il)liberal (Un)democrats will never accept the democratic will of the people. In 2010 they campaigned for an In-Out referendum on our membership of the EU. In 2016 they fought and lost that referendum that they had demanded. Now they are demanding the referendum result is ignored. If they lose the election (a refendum in all but name on Brexit) they will continue to campaign (read obstruct) at every opportunity to overturn the democratic result. It is worth remembering that their new leader has gone on the record to say that in the event of a second referendum again voting leave, then the party will not accept the result and continue campaigning (read obstruct) to remain. If we believe that this country is a democracy then country needs political parties and MPs who respect the will of the people when asked and don't try and pick and choose what votes they support.
  19. Took the car out on a lovely sunny morning in Surrey - targas off, audio on! Photos back at base.
