  1. I would hope so. Apparently the car was offered to an owner of one of the other 6 IMSA cars for $700K. Let's see how strong the market is.
  2. OEM welding info here: BRM 69-76.pdf
  3. The first public sale of a 1989 Nissan 300ZX Turbo IMSA GTO car. Built by Cunningham Racing the "76" car developed over 700HP and 600 torques and (together with the "75" car) dominated the IMSA GTO and GTS categories between '90 to 95'. https://stratas.auction/auction/1989-nissan-300zx-turbo-imsa-gto-29
  4. Nice suprise at the end of this Hot Cars article just publised. https://www.hotcars.com/japanese-sports-cars-are-faster-new-corvette/
  5. Getting closer...
  6. Disconnecting the battery will clear the ECU malfuntion codes. From the FSM:
  7. It went for a price that despite its "early dated looks" people thought it was worth. At the end of the day that's all that matters.
  8. Sold For $45,500. Onwards and upwards.
  9. Look at the pin spacings. The the pin arrowed should go to A, but from the marks on the plastic is going into position B with no connection.
  10. Looks to be the case:
  11. "Drop in" injectors are standard early style 370cc and 555cc (Nismo) pintle injectors. Later pintleless injectors ie 615cc and 740cc require adapater kits and new electrical connectors as the style changed. 740cc injectors are the usual replacement option. JWT make the lowest profile C clamps which make it easier to remove/replace injectors once the upper manifold is in place. If you go larger flow rates than stock 370cc you will need to change the stock ECU EPROM to another with revised fuel mapping tables. SpecialityZ are a good source of "off the shelf" EPROMs https://www.specialtyz.com/300zx/jwt-injector-adapter-kit.html https://www.specialtyz.com/300zx/fueling-ecu/sz-ecu-chips.html

  13. If your readings are good then No. 2 is still out of range at 23Ω and No. 4 is gone.
  14. Welcome to the Club Luke. Can you post a photo(s) of what you have done to the mirror connection(s) please?
  15. Have you checked for surface corrosion on the connectors (both plug and injector sides). It makes for a very good insulator and will give o/c and or high resistance. The colour of the corrosion surface can be a metal colour (grey) and difficult to spot sometimes. Clean with very fine needle file and recheck resistance.
  16. Having got seperated I headed to Tilgate Park as our lunch stop. The car park was absolutely rammed and I didn't see you there so I headed back home. A few pics below from the lovely drive out by the coast. We had a great tour guide! Nice to catch up with you all.
  17. Welcome Kieran, you will probably have more success on the Zclub.net site for your Z31 speedo problem: https://zclub.net/ https://zclub.net/community/index.php?search/2498936/&q=speedo&o=date&c[node]=4
  18. Who knows, perhaps printed media will have a comeback rather like vinyl records.
  19. I would swap them over, they are there for a reason.
  20. There are two parts. Nissan describes two ways of replacing the bit you can see (T piece) or both of them. 72752-30P10 (Top Moulding "T") 72725-30P01 (Fastner)
  21. For car parts you will be charged duty (4.5%) on the declared value of the goods and then VAT (20%) on the goods, the shipping and duty combined. Plus a courier handing admin fee for customs clearance (usually £12 to £20 depending on the courier). You can appeal if you don't feel the amount charged is correct. I don't find buying parts from the US or ouside the EU to be a minefield, in fact it is a pretty straight forward process and is unaffected by any UK/EU trading terms now or in the future. As for buying parts from the EU from next year, we don't know what the terms will be yet, but if they are on WTO then we will follow the same sort of process as buying from say the US. It's not that hard to do.
  22. With good weather I do like a drive through the English countryside and picnic. Thanks to Nips and Naz for organising the day.
  23. Get them while you can. NLA in Japan. https://conceptzperformance.com/nissan-infiniti-nissan-jdm-1999-fairlady-z-hid-xenon-headlights-nissan-300zx-z32-26010-vp126-kt_p_361.php
  24. In my experience it will get to the local delivery depot and be held pending payment of customs and handling charges.
