  1. You will need to undo the engine undertray and intercooler duct/undertrays fixings at the front edge were they join the bumper lower edge. The parts in the photos need to be transfered to from the '89 to the '99 spec bumper. The front support bar that hold the fog lamps are the same for both types. If you haven't removed the front bumper before, this is a quide: Front bumper bar removal.pdf For reference these are the parts diagrams for the '89 and '99 spec bumpers.
  2. Just finished the job. Brake and Clutch pads go on a lot easier if they are heated up first and go soft and malleable. Only needed to remove the two bolts and turn the pedal assembly around. The only way I got locking bush out was to cut away the outer part of the old pad moulding where it is secured (arrowed). This enabled the bush to be pushed out with the hinge bar. To relieve the tension on the spring I cable tied it as shown until the new pad was in place. Rest the pedal against the floor stop and drive the new locking bush into place with a small round bar. You can correctly position the upper return spring by hand once the mounting bolts are back in.
  3. Doing the same job Alex. Accelerator pedal has a hinge mechanism with return spring. The white bush needs to be pushed out to allow the metal bar carrying the spring to slide out and be removed. I can't see how that can be easily done and reassembled without removing the pedal assembly (just two bolts and the cable end fitting though). The foot rest is part# 67848-40P00 and super expensive new!
  4. Auction underway, current bid (one so far) $100,000 with 12 days to go. https://stratas.auction/auction/1989-nissan-300zx-turbo-imsa-gto-29
  5. Is the N/S wheel doing the same?
  6. That was fun! Great to see the whole episode devoted to a Z32. There was more than one way to skin this cat and at the end of the day it's infotainment. The presenters gave a good account of the Z32 and it was lovely to see Steve Millen in the show.
  7. What width and offset are those rims?
  8. Welcome to the Club and thank you for your support! The photo you have posted shows the oil pressure sensor. Is your oil pressure guage working? The speed sensor on the auto transmission looks like this (note the side entry point for the wires).
  9. Seeing the Facebook car, are you after a NA or Twin Turbo (TT) car?
  10. Are you sure the injectors themselves are the cause of the misfire? What else have you checked (ie vacuum leaks, spark plugs, ignition system, PTU, connectors, wiring etc). Checked for ECU fault codes? http://www.twinturbo.net/nissan/300zx/forums/technical/view/922678/The-6-Ps-Proper-Preparation-Prevents-Piss-Poor-Performancegt.html http://www.twinturbo.net/nissan/300zx/forums/technical/view/1105629/The-Ultimate-Guide-to-ECU-Diagnostics.html Re the various deletes you can do with the plenum off (scroll to bottom for deletes): https://conceptzperformance.com/wiki/index.php/Intake_Manifold_Removal
  11. Just in case it gets missed the bushes for the FUCA (54541-RS580 and 54545-RS580) have specific fitment instructions (in Japanese). Make sure the 1mm gaps indicated and arrowed are achieved rather than simply pressing those four bushes all the way in.
  12. For reference, the prices for the Nismo bushes from Greenline: https://www.greenline.jp/catalogue/bccatpartlist2.php?make=Nissan&carcode=Z32B&intake=FI&category=suspension&subcat=Bushes and Collars&sortby=&brand=NISMO With the Nismo parts diagram: nismo z32 suspension bushes.pdf
  13. Got a link to the car you are interested in?
  14. Is the spring clip correctly seated?
  15. Got the relevant FSM pages for diagnosing dimmer (illumination control) system?
  16. ECU showing fault codes? http://www.twinturbo.net/nissan/300zx/forums/technical/view/1105629/The-Ultimate-Guide-to-ECU-Diagnostics.html The 2.5K limit could be ECU Fail Safe condition for MAF (see FSM EF+EC page attached). In the first instance have a look at the MAF connections for corrosion/damage. EF+EC 32.pdf
  17. It is pretty unusual to need to replace all three cables. What is the problem with them? Have you checked/inspected the shoes and drums for excessive wear and/or setup the shoe clearance?
  18. The GZA keys are all titanium and came with cutting instructions for dealing with the metal. GZA-keyblank-cutting-guidelines.pdf
  19. But they are/were made of titanium though. https://conceptzperformance.com/gza-titanium-key-replica-nissan-300zx-z32-gza-key00-00111_p_15467.php More may be in the pipeline. https://www.facebook.com/pg/GZAPARTS/posts/
  20. Just need to get one of these to complete the kit Alex.
  21. Congratulations on your acquisition Tony and the start of your Z32 adventure!
  22. Check that the glass sealing rubber by the mirror sail hasn't folded over itself against the glass. This can jam the movement of the glass both ways.
  23. It may be the power window module has developed a fault (poor solder connections): https://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/topic/114853-repair-window-module/ Sometimes you can get the thing temporarily working by pressing down on the button and thumping the door. To fix the door card needs to come off (the same applies to a seized window motor).
