  1. I recognise that shot Richard, Bude if I'm not mistaken. Nice part of the North Cornish coast.
  2. From another era and not so dissimilar.
  3. Short video showing how the design concepts and goals for the Z proto came about with Nissan designers showing the cues taken from the 240Z and the Z32 300ZX.
  4. Is the ECU showing fault codes? Under what conditions are you getting hesitation - engine hot, cold or normal operating temps? Engine load? Have you checked ignition and fuel related connectors (spark plugs, ignition coils, PTU) for damage and/or corrrosion?
  5. With all the goings on in at Nissan and the world going all "electric" all credit to them for producing a prototype car with old school twin turbo V6, manual and rear wheel drive. To think at one time the Z badge looked like it was going to end up on a crossover.
  6. Details here: https://en-gb.facebook.com/PowerZed-331214947014135/
  7. Check with Jim@PowerZed to see if he can advise you on a competent AEM tuner - and welcome back!
  8. Thanks for supporting the Club Jay.
  9. Asahi glass make the Temperlite glass, decoding here:
  10. It is unusual to say the least to have all six fail, what is actually wrong with them?
  11. Why would someone pay to be a member of a Club and then spend their time making derogatory comments towards the members?
  12. https://www.z1motorsports.com/radiator-shroud-and-fitting/nissan/oem-300zx-z32-twin-turbo-tt-upper-radiator-hose-p-630.html https://conceptzperformance.com/nissan-infiniti-nissan-oem-300zx-upper-radiator-hose-twin-turbo-tt-z32-21501-40p60_p_13427.php
  13. Radiator top hose? CZP and Z1 have them.
  14. MOT pass today with no advisories. Always a nice feeling to drive away with that result.
  15. Assuming OEM - part#'s. Japan looks cheaper than elsewhere (the gaiter is available from 3rd parties). https://jp-carparts.com/nissan/partlist.php?maker=nissan&type=132&fig=341A&part=3286530P01&page=1 https://jp-carparts.com/nissan/partlist.php?maker=nissan&type=132&fig=969*&part=9693530P00&page=1 Can you confirm the flexi (rubber) hose you are after:
  16. Looks like the green circled pair of wires are the power feed (orange/black) and ground (black) for the cigarette lighter and the blue circled wire on the right with plug (green/red) is the Cigarette Lighter Finisher bulb power feed (the ground for the bulb is via the body of the lighter). See the partial diagram below. Can you unwrap that plug and check that it is a 3 pin type as shown below (M61)?
  17. Is it the Engine side harness plug or main harness socket that has been damaged? You can't get the plug/sockets from Nissan on their own (AFAIK). If you can't clean them up or they are corroded beyond use then you are probably best getting a pair of good plugs out of a breaker with some harness wires still on and cutting out the old and soldering in the replacement. Alternatively you could just rewire (bridge) the individual damaged pin pairs. Not and easy task given the location.
  18. Not than I'm aware unfortunately. I've taken a look at the post you refer to and looks to be the brown M59 (main harness) to E112 (engine room harness) connection. Two row 18 pin type shared with a number of different circuits including ECCS. Is yours completely shot?
  19. Can you post photo(s)?
  20. Possible with R32 GT-R setup and thin spacers. Take a look at these links. Whether it is worth it over a properly serviced stock setup is moot. http://www.twinturbo.net/nissan/300zx/forums/general/view/543219/The-116-Skyline-rotor-is-from-the-R32-GT-R-gt.html http://www.twinturbo.net/nissan/300zx/forums/general/view/2529643/The-R32-kit-and-variations-on-it-are-pointless-in-2013.html http://www.300zx-twinturbo.com/tech/gtr/gtr32brake.htm
  21. Auto Express "Our exclusive images give you an idea of how the finished car could look".
  22. My manual UK spec has the push button key release and is described in the OM.
