  1. Classic case of debris blocking the strainer to a point where all line pressure is lost and drive. Switching the engine off allows the fluid to run back through the strainer and flush it clear, however it blocks again and your stuck in a cycle. Ok options is to drain and remove the gearbox sump pan, remove the strainer and clean out, clean out the cooler lines and cooler, reassemble and refil. The chance is it will work again maybe 6 months or could be 6 days who knows, got to be worth a go though. The thing is the debris is most likely clutch or brake band material and will not get better, as I said its still worth ago to give you some time to think about your options. Good luck Jeff TT
  2. Red cable +12 volt Black -0 v Green To speedo input Yellow To Speed sensor Grey Not used Identify the green / yellow cable on the rear connector to the speedo cluster. Follow this onto the pcb board, the strip of copper can be cut with a sharp knife, on the connector side of the cut solder the yellow cable to the strip. That leaves the other 3 cable to be connected using the screws that are in place connecting the speedo unit to the board. There is a 12v (red cable) 0v (black cable)and speedo input (green cable) this are marked on the pcb. I will post a photo here tomorrow to show this in detail. Jeff TT

  6. Boost / air leaks are often an issue when engines are changed or items removed when not enough care is not taken with all of the ducts and pipes, take a quick look at the photo below of a squashed pipe that had been mullered into place following some work done at a non specialist garage :x: the pipe had to be replaced as it could not be trusted. Jeff TT
