  1. don't take this the wrong way, but I don't understand why you're going to all the effort of rebuilding the engine, and bigger turbo's without upgrading the injectors. Seems a false economy to me, especially as you can max out stock inj. with stock turbo's. I'm only asking as this is the second time in a week that I've seen this Hope you get her back soon, J
  2. agree, that's a lot for an NA, especially a fresh import. You can get TT's that have been in the country a while and well looked after for that money, that way all the teething problems and have been sorted and it should have been serviced too.
  3. adjusting the could lead to stalling problems. I believe you can change the trumpet on some models for a louder noise
  4. cobra imola bucket seats, also have spare side mount brackets if you ever need any pics in rides
  5. 14f/12r is waaaay too stiff for the road, great for track work though.
  6. can you post your graph?
  7. bhp is calculated from the torque figure and rpm. If your peak torque figure was higher than your bhp, it just means your power band is lower down the rev range, or maybe you need finer tuning to keep the torque higher up the rev range and thus give you more bhp
  8. I'm around if you do want to come over. PM me tomorrow to confirm.
  9. tubs sounds fine, sounds like you might be running on five or in safety boost (or both). You're welcome to pop over here if you like and I'll have a look over it but I reckon AndyP might be easier for you to get to.
  10. 20 is too low, it will stick out and catch the arches
  11. offset wil be the same regardless of diameter, but will vary with width. Do a search to be exact but normally it's 35-40mm for 8"-9" wheels
  12. to keep an intank system you'll need to go with dual in-tank pumps. What HP figures are you aiming for to max out the 850's?
  13. some good points there Mike, would be nice to have a street section as it's unrealistic to compete against the demo cars. I'm still tempted to go along next year anyway just to have a go but we'll see
  14. go home as she needs you there - even if you think she's not thinking rationally she still needs your support
  15. you can leave it venting to the air or have your own made up and have them plumbed back into the exhaust system
  16.  I'll let everyone know how it goes then :)
  17. that wide with a skyline offset will most likely rub
  18. nothing to do with performance, they say for powerful rear drive cars as they tend to have huge wheels on! Offset for the 300zx is high 30's at the rear, even into the 40's for wide rims (I run +48 offset on a 10" rim) negative offset will push the wheel outside of the arches so will be suitable for those with wide arch kits
  19. no offense, but isn't this the kind of thing you should have been researching before you ordered the turbos....
  20. I have the Defi setup in mine, not sure if you noticed it the other day
