Well my alarm woes continue

The guy locked me out of it when he fitted it but luckely the drivers door was slightly open to we managed to unlock it after lots of messing with a coat hanger.

Now i have not driven it for a few days and the alarm just went off so i went outside to switch it off and its killed the battery but the problem is i now cant open the doors as in tony lacks wisdom he removed all the locks to stop people getting in :slap:

So what do i do???

The funny thing is i had the same alarm fitted to my R32 last year and its all coming back to me now, after i had that one fitted i had battery problems ie it ran it down over about 48 hours!!

The alarm is a gemini cat 1 thingy

If he didn't might be worth putting one in when you do finally get into the car? what's the cheapest window to replace??

Remove the front indicator and attach a wire from a good battery to the live feed on the indicator and it gives it just enough power to open up.

You`ll need an Earth aswell!

Thats what happens when you fit cheap nasty sh1t Mike, should have phoned me and i`d have told you to stay away from them!!

Have you had a look at the SIGMA stuff Bob? the new S series is tiny (not much bigger than a fag packet and cat1!) ideal for fitting to cars with not much room. The siren is very small Li Ion backup unit

The only reason i haven`t looked at new stuff Paul is that i`ve been doing Toad for years now so don`t need any diagrams or instructions. You know what it`s like with a new product, having to look at the wiring diagram for every bloody wire, can put an hour on the job!!
