scrawni Posted November 19, 2006 Posted November 19, 2006 I don't want to put a downer on your idea but, if you look at the pics then the adjuster is on top of the shock. Now if you don't intend changing adjustment then this is fine, but if you want to be able to take it to a track now and again then its gonna be a pita to remove the trim in the back every time you want to stiffen it up. But they do look good don't they. Quote
badger1 Posted November 21, 2006 Author Posted November 21, 2006 ask them what the spring rates are the spring rates are 14kg front and 12kg rear...the adjuster for the shock should be easy to get to for track days... That was his reply is this ok? Also he said that they are easy to adjust for track days without taking the trim out!!! Cost is 985 US dollars delivered which is £518.97 thats a good price surely!!! jaffa Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 14f/12r is waaaay too stiff for the road, great for track work though. Quote
Andy Isherwood Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 I will contact them as soon as I know they are ok mate....very cheap eh!!! Yeah Very cheap! I sent the guy an email asking for figures on a bulk buy. He does't know that you and I are talking though. You never know it could work out to be a really good deal. I guess it depends on what you find out on the quality! Andy Quote
Yowser Posted November 23, 2006 Posted November 23, 2006 14f/12r is waaaay too stiff for the road, great for track work though. I agree, thats way overkill. Something like the Teins are 8fr/6r and you would'nt want to drive them around much on the stiffest setting ! Expect handling (and your teeth) to deteriot as it struggles to keep the tyres in contact with the road over every tiny bump/pebble/leaf you pass. Quote
