  5. plus any bodywork/interior mods ....
  6. i think you need to read the thread again and some others on the board. Andy's figures were a minimum, doesn't include suspension, brakes, or alloys/tires, gauges, maintenance etc I think if you are serious you should set aside 10k-15k on top of the purchase price of the car
  7. nice, what colour is that? skyline MP1 / MPII or something along those lines?
  8. sounds like a vacuum leak... can take a look tomorrow if you like
  9. when could you get the bumper back? you could nab mine for a few days
  10. I got one too, brill piece of kit
  11. agreed, the converted are an improvement over originals but the 99spec are miles better (from someone who's had both)
  12. 'tis a Raven yes :) thought saying i was with my wife should've have covered the other question
  13. yes mate, even in this weather!
  14. lol, no mate, don't touch the stuff. Took my wife to see a concert of some obscure band she likes (Corvus Corax - very good live)
  15. overnight trip to Amsterdam covering 600 miles :) Great drive, even though it was foggy/icey when I left yesterday and car is now filthy. Just wanted to say these cars are reliable and they can be used!
  16. you'll need 17" alloys though, or they won't fit :p
  17. search, there are loads of options depending on your budget

  19. my wife and I have been watching from the start, absolute class :D
  20. 10" rim you want around +45 offset, i currently i have 10" with +48 and that's fine
  21. yes mate, it can happen. I have a pair of new ones going cheap if you want them? Bought them thinking the same thing but had mine checked before fitting and didn't find excessive play. In the the end I replaced my adj. tension rods with a new set and that fixed them. http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=84670 PS mine only used to shake when braking from speeds over 60/70mph
  22. At Bruntingthorpe, the TT's were hitting 160mph on the 2mile straight from a standing start - before having to jump on the brakes for the fairly tight corner at the end
  23. HID conversion is around £200, and is well worth it!
