i think you need to read the thread again and some others on the board. Andy's figures were a minimum, doesn't include suspension, brakes, or alloys/tires, gauges, maintenance etc I think if you are serious you should set aside 10k-15k on top of the purchase price of the car

yes mate, it can happen. I have a pair of new ones going cheap if you want them? Bought them thinking the same thing but had mine checked before fitting and didn't find excessive play. At Bruntingthorpe, the TT's were hitting 160mph on the 2mile straight from a standing start - before having to jump on the brakes for the fairly tight corner at the end :eek:

HID conversion is around £200, and is well worth it!
