wider tires won't help in the rain, jspec size are 225 all round, uk is 225 front 245 rear. Sounds like you need to get decent tires... what brand do you have at the moment? that or your suspension is knackered
  2. it's the speeding warning that's all messed up having switched to UK clocks. Follow the guide for removing the 112kmh speed warning and it'll fix it. Drove me mad when I had, made the car sound like a microwave, pinging everytime you came to a stop
  3. the 599 looks a bit awkward in most colours but there was a black one at Goodwood that looked very menacing :)
  4. Do you have the offsets to hand? I'm sure 235 will be just fine unless the offset is way out
  5. well I've got 265 on the front and seems ok so far and I've not even had an aligment done yet! you'll be fine with 235 or 245
  6. will also depend on the offset as 285 might rub but 265 will be ok
  7. I'm a 50p man, rest goes in a jar

Neil, Is that the car park on burlington road? I park there whenever I take the cat to the Vet :)
  9. Great, well I've decided to go for the sport kit with Eibach springs Maybe change to the race ones later if I get to have a ride in yours and feel the difference :) Edit - might change my mind depending if there's a GB and discount
  10. Out of intereset, which one are you going for John ? :)
  11. as taff says, it bolts the rear towhooks together, makes little to no difference on the Zed apparently
  12. Interested in the Sport Kit for sure, the track one is tempting though I don't think I'd ever really feel the difference. Some quick questions -what Piston size are they? -does the price include the eibach springs or the Nitron ones? -when do you want to place the order? Thanks for getting these sorted :)
  13. Wasn't me but I live just up the road off of Coombe Lane. Where about are you?
  14. hmm, might be worth looking at different insurers too so you can look at imports. That'll give you a much wider selection and you can also look at the SWB which is a bit more agile. Just don't buy the first one you see, get a feel for the cars and keep an eye on the for sale section on the board :)
  15. any more info on the R34 setup?
  16. What are the new ones you're getting and out of interest how much do they weigh?

the large sizes should fit but will have a large rolling raidius which will affect speedo etc. but you will be more sentive to how suitable the wheels are in terms of offset. The smaller sizes are better, but 285 out back will need the right offset to avoid rubbing. What are the width's and offsets of the alloys for reference?
  18. I meant the cost of the NOS itself, how much does a refill cost and how many "hits" do you get from that out of interest?
  19. I reckon the cost of the install + the ongoing costs of refilling the nitrous is better spent on permanent power mods. This way you can have the extra power all the time, less likely to cause problems long term, and probably cheaper long term! all my opinion, though i have no personal experience with NOS of course NOS on a big engine build at the drag strip in another thing ;)
  20. off the shelf, came with the studs too. Good quality stuff. I've actually got 15mm each side (alloys are +48 offset) but may machine a few mm off later on if needed. They came from SRBpower, and they arrived next day.
  21. not posted for a while so here are a few thing in preparation for the new alloys, will post up pics once they're back from being refurbed, in the mean time my H&R lightweight spacers and lightweight Rays nuts have arrived :) Can't believe how light the nuts are, about 20g each!
  22. not wishing to clutter you're other threads, where are these catching on the wheel?
  23. I'm not running but I'm hoping to be there around 3ish to say hello :)
  24. did you get front and rear? and where did you get them from? Will be interested to know how they compare to the AP setup.
  25. does the pass side lock manually? if so then check the solonoid that locks as it should lock/unlock in line with the drivers side one
