  1. seriously? I was talking to him last week too. RIP Jay.
  2. blimey, keep up. the Pentroof Zed is in the UK, on the road and belongs to a member on here :)
  3. i think it depends on if your going manual or auto and if you've driven an NA? I think the manual NA could still be fun, but the auto NA might be a bit dull and probably won't be much more econimical.
  4. sorry guys, he's been getting my car ready as I'm going to the nurburgring and SPA this weekend. He returned the car on Sunday and he said he was going to be finishing yours in the next few days Stu ;)
  5. unpluf each coilpack one at a time to see if you've lost a cylinder. the one that makes no difference to the idle is the problem one. Might kust be that one of them is loose. Also check the ptu connection
  6. stillen type 3 extension every time link
  7. if anything it's more important to do it with HID's so that they don't flick on & off when flashing lights. Also a bit scary when driving at night on back roads, swith to dip and it goes pitch black for a few moments while the HID's come up to temp
  8. well done Macca!
  9. so... how wide are yours then? ;)
  10. nice, let us know the grip is :)
  11. any sound clips of the single exit?
  12. Managed to speak to Martyn today, he's had problems with his phone which is why noone has been able to contact him. He also stores all our numbers on there so hasn't been able to get intouch with anyone either! He's hoping to get it sorted in the next few days and catch up with people then
  13. thanks for that, I thought they were one and the same
  14. Porsche are using VNT turbos on the 997 turbo ;)
  15. i reckon you'd still end up modding the replacement! IF (and that's a big if) I had to replace the Zed I'd go for the new Z06 :) doubt you'll want to mod that, and monthly payments will be what you spend in mods anyway!
  16. from the fall out after SE went bust. How's it going and what kind of spec did you have in the end?
  17. I can't believe people are still worrying about the speed limit! Considering how wide the track is those speeds will be slow! PS Would love to come I'm going to the Nurburgring and Spa that week so Louise would kill me if I spend another day with the car
  18. bearing in mind he has a full engine build on top of the paintwork and interior I imagine 50k would easily disappear. I'm not saying how much I've spent on mine incase the other half reads and I haven't even started on the paintwork yet!
  19. I'm 27 now, owned a Zed for the last 4years :D
  20. sounds like a leak to me too, try running up the rev range slowly (ie little boost) and then do the same again with WOT
  21. no probs mate, nice to meet you. See you at Japfest!
  22. stoptech do it too :) but no worries. I'd like to go for the 356 but concerned about clearance
  23. yup so I can check the clearance with the spokes :)
  24. thanks, so they're bigger than they look then! Don't suppose you have templates so we can check wheel clearance?
