  1. you won't recoup the extra you spend on it, not much point finishing it just to sell it straight away either
  2. and now it's up again :D
  3. been down for at least 2 days now...
  4. selling my 535i if you're interested ? will post for sale next week when I have more time link Only selling as I've decided I need an estate, so impressed with the 535 I got myself a 540 touring!
  5. any leaks? do you have any oil gauges? how were they the last time you took it out? Sorry to hear this, you must be gutted
  6. depends on the spoke design, as for size, some 17" will clear, 18" will be fine.
  7. I don't know, I have a soft spot for a black Z06 :)
  8. R8 for looks, GTR for performance. I just can't get my head around how big the GTR is!
  9. unfortunately with a new arrival in the household I think I've done less than 10 miles in the last 6 months! I've now SORN'd it until the new engine is fitted
  10. i use a cut up plastic plant pot to protect between bumper and headlight panel, works a treat ;)
  11. i have edead and yes you should layer it. I've done the rear hatch area im my slicktop and it did reduce the tire noise (though it felt more like a roar using solid subframe bushes and big tires!)
  12. i've got new slicktop trims coming from Concept-Z, seemed to have them in stock.
  13. next family car :) the 300 stays
  14. I'm running dual intake, idles fine, no running problems. Why don't you see how you get on with a single one first. If you feel it's holding your setup back then switch to dual. If you want to throw a bit more cash at it go MAP but for less than 500hp i don't see the point.
  15. settings will vary from car to car, start with the lowest and work your way up. I think the setgain is how aggresive it tries to get to your desired boost level ie make the turbo's spool up quicker by keeping the wastegate closed as long as possible too much and the boost will spike, too little and it'll take a while to hit full boost
  16. You need to read the comments above, the offset only limits your tire sizes with standard arches, with a wide arch the lmit is the width of the rim. So 285/295 is about right for a 10" rim. Rolling radius is the height of the alloy/tire, not the relationship between front & rear. You want to run a 30 profile with 285 on 18" to keep the size the same as stock. However, you might want to run a slightly taller 35 profile to fill the wide arches better.
  17. more details on the turbo please, a hybrid could mean anything.
  18. as per your other thread post the dyno so we can see the power curve. leader gears and quaife should work together, but if you're thinking of selling the quaife I want first dibs!
  19. the 3" downpipes will give an improvement over the super splits. However, if you have that much lag and you've already got the MSP manifolds then you'll probably find your turbo's are not a good match for our engines. Do you have any more details on them? PS fitting your diff with the leader gears will help too, but in turn will make your traction issues worse...
  20. car will run fine except steering will be heavier at low speeds as the speed signal to the ecu is messed up
  21. the offset has nothing to do with tire size, but will dictate the size of spacer you need. For a 10" rim I think 295 is about as big as you can go.
