I need to replace a head light lamp and was given a set of the above with the car when I brought it. However I don’t want to fit them if they’re going to be neenar blue. Anyone tried these before? What is the standard fit lamp? Cheers, Chris.

This looks like a very good car other than some front end damage - could be a bargain for someone. Manual with low mileage. https://www.donedeal.ie/cars-for-sale/2x-nissan-300zx-for-sale/18796138

My car has developed a nasty rattle, on the way home from Battlesbridge and visiting GSC. So it will be off the road for a while while I get some advice on the problem and work out what to do. This means I will have my vw at the Lakes, Coventry, Simply Japanese, unless some miracle occurs. :( Might post some video clips tomorrow so we can play "name that tune"

Bit of an odd one.... I’ve noticed recently that I’m getting what I would describe as a coarse feeling through the steering wheel when turning right at speed, and only when turning right. Problem isn’t apparent when “dry” steering whilst stationary. Power steering fluid level is correct No nasty noises from the PS pump Any ideas? I thought maybe a dry steering UJ, but surely I’d feel that regardless of which way I turn? CheerZ

After months off the road I've finally got round to changing a duff injector to get old girl back. Now I'm struggling to sort the very low idle. Disconnecting the plug on the Idle control valve makes no difference, so I'm thinking there may be a boost leak or a knackered IACV. I tried pulling the plug on the MAF but as soon as I do the engine cuts out. I thought that with the MAF disconnected the idle speed should pick up not cut out completely? Have I got this wrong, which wouldn't surprise me. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi All My N/A 300ZX Z32 JDM Manual has developed a strange noise when engine is running, it sounds like its coming from behind the dash but I have had the speedo binnacle and the clocks out and cant seem to pinpoint what it is or where it is coming from, it is difficult to hear in the engine compartment so I am at a loss. I have done a short video of the noise if anyone recognises it could they please let me know, its really annoying but more importantly is it the prelude to a serious problem Any help would be great, it does not appear to affect the performance but having not had the car long I don't know if its present performance is as it should be …

Since rebuilding the turbo's is gonna be close to 1k i was looking at the turbo kits on CZP a few of them are 2k and since there brand new would hopefully last me a while and i was wondering if these could be installed, then ran at regular boost pressure or do you have to run them at the higher psi's cos then i would need injectors, mapping etc and all that entails

Hi all, I recently had my 300ZX smoke tested, it appears that the Recirc valves themselves are leaking, (not the pipes which they connect to) so, my question is ,can these be reconditioned, if so how ? , and where do I get the necessary parts ?, I do not get the noise described as goose honk, Or are there any companies that will re con the valves and properly test them ? Thoughts Sayers

Hi, I'm having a weird issue with noises like loose bake pads clanking, abs coming on when creeping to a stop, feeling on brake catch before the others..... I have had both front wheels off and nothing appears loose, pads seem okay, all suspension seems fine, yet it isn't right..... Today I got the ABS kick in as I stopped and a boing noise from the ABS pump in the back.... Brakes seem to work fine until the last minute when slowing gradually...... If I stamp on them at 30mph they stop, No ABS issue until it gets to under 10mph..... You can feel the pads on one side grab the disc before the others..... I had the ABS light come on earlier, but no flashing LED …

Occasionally my Z32 TT turns over really quickly and will not start. I had to get it out of the way yesterday so as I was on my own and my drive is on a slight incline, out of desperation I turned it over in gear to one it out of the way. Having moved it forward a couple of feet on the starter motor in first gear, I tried it again and it started first time!! When it won't start the engine turns over very quickly compared to normal. I'm not a mechanic but I am an engineer. The only thing I can think of is less resistance when its turning over IE. no compression. Can a valve get stuck open or if there in no fuel being injected into the cylinders, does this make it eas…

I'm taking out my old Iridium plugs and going to fit the above listed in the title. Running 14PSi. NGK doesn't list this plug under the 300zx however does anyone know what gap setting I need for these particular plugs? I believe it's 0.36 however my feeler gauges are at 0.4 (stock being 0.44). Is this suitable or do I need a slightly reduced gap? I'll have to buy another feeler gauge as my one does not have this measurement.
