Hi all, I have pulled out of buying two Z's in the past few months after going to view them due to being concerned about potential rust issues, patched up historical work and even recent new work that I felt was dubious. My challenge is not going to get any easier over time. As a community it seems we know where to go for parts, we know reliable people for engine work but I have no clue who I can really trust to do a great job for bodywork. Do we know of any decent bodyshops that have done work on members Z's? Is there a club recommended trader etc? I am based in the Midlands where there are plenty of bodyshops. That does not mean they are any good. Location is not an …

  7. Right guys. As above. I’m renting a van to go to Eastbourne to collect some parts for Nina from TheRealNips. However I’ve got the van rented for the whole weekend. I am willing to drive to wherever if you guys are willing to open up your storages to let me rummage in there to find parts for my build etc etc. Give me a shout on here or text me on 07848988101 or find me on Facebook Edd Hankers. Want to make having the van worth my while and do some buys for my beloved mistress. PFA Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Afternoon Guys, I see that a twinz group buy happened some time ago from CZP. Was just wondering if there was another one planned or if people where considering one in the future? Very keen to get my hands on a 2+2 bolt on diffuser :) Thanks, James.

Hi, I have somehow managed to shear off the bolt that goes through the glass on the drivers door window. Does anyone know if it can be easily removed or is it easier to just replace the glass? I've seen the bolt for sale at Concept Z for $0.77 but they want $18 for delivery :laugh: Cheers

My slicktop has been parked up and a bit neglected since late last year. Prepping and selling my spare slicktop, building a new trackday car and an exciting new house project in Spain have taken up most of my time, energy and money so far this year. However this week I met up with my buddy Bob Dixon and bought his Volk Racing SE37s complete with some used trackday tyres fitted:thumbup1: I got them on the car today and Im very happy. This has always been one of my favourite wheels. I also made a start to fitting the TwinZ rooftop spoiler that Howard kindly imported for me with his Twinz order. I should get that painted for a final fitting this week. Pics of tod…

  14. Hi all, I thought I’d throw this out here to knock some heads together as this problem is really frustrating me now! It started off as a very mild vibration when braking at speeds at around 80mph and above but gradually got worse over a period of months. It was never “too” bad but I decided to try and rectify it before a trip to the Lake District and now it’s become “too” bad! As it stands I get fairly severe vibration at all speeds down to around 20-30mph where it fizzles away. When I first take the car out, it’s nice and smooth with no feedback but after the 2nd or 3rd use of the brakes it begins to worsen and after that it’s at its worst. When I release …

This looks like a very good car other than some front end damage - could be a bargain for someone. Manual with low mileage. https://www.donedeal.ie/cars-for-sale/2x-nissan-300zx-for-sale/18796138

My car has developed a nasty rattle, on the way home from Battlesbridge and visiting GSC. So it will be off the road for a while while I get some advice on the problem and work out what to do. This means I will have my vw at the Lakes, Coventry, Simply Japanese, unless some miracle occurs. :( Might post some video clips tomorrow so we can play "name that tune"

  22. Bit of an odd one.... I’ve noticed recently that I’m getting what I would describe as a coarse feeling through the steering wheel when turning right at speed, and only when turning right. Problem isn’t apparent when “dry” steering whilst stationary. Power steering fluid level is correct No nasty noises from the PS pump Any ideas? I thought maybe a dry steering UJ, but surely I’d feel that regardless of which way I turn? CheerZ
