Not that I want to rag my Zed from cold, but I was curious to know if there is an inhibitor when the car is cold to stop the turbo's cutting in? I know there is a safety mode, but the car seems like the turbo's don't cut in until the car is fully warm. The difference in power is very noticeable! The boost gauge reads correctly (as recommended in the buyers guide). Thanks for any help given.

Just bought my z32tt manual, I did so knowing that the engine missed/spluttered occasionally at low rev range when holding a certain speed. On my journey home I noticed that if I went upto 4500 revs I got what I suspect is fuel cut, can anybody give me any advice on how to go about solving this issue??????

Changed my front studs today, went for a drive and my brake pedal went to the floor i then pumped the pedal and had brakes again but then it would happen again and again also had a bad vibration from the front wheels,i took it to the garage they fixed it and said it had a little bit of crap between the disc and the hub i'm amazed a little bit of muck could cause these problems?

  7. As standard they are a kinda dull manky whiteish type colour which looked ok I suppose. However now I have a triple guage pod mounted at the top of my centre console with balck face dials ith white numbering and red needles. I thought to myself, "Damn it would look good if the standard dials matched that colour". SO I bought some super bright LEDs. didn't work, came out a pale blue through the dials with concentrated spots where the bulbs where. so then I bought some super white normal bulbs (The ones that have a blue outer surface but glow white. didn't work either, better spread but still a pale blue. I see the standard bulbs are the old style yellow ones with blu…

Well after a bit searching and bleeding the system i have discovered that the UJ that goes on to the rack seems to be my fault and is giving me hard steering. I have wd40 up the joint and at the mo all seems well My question is, is that all i need to do or will it go back to the way it was and i need to replace it? hope that makes sense.

I've got the DW Traction rods, Camber arms and Tension rods to go on and was going to order the DW Hicas elimination kit. I've been told that the toe rods that are supplied with the kit don't fir the Zed?! Has anyone else got the same setup and what did you do with the toe rods? Did you use an alternative arm or not? I did mine today, quite happy with them, obviously no where near as good as the proper ones, but still look good, no pics of them lit up yet as I need a couple of inverters, any body got a couple? I got some suspension arms that came off a zed (fitted but never driven) and the camber arms look like the driftworks R33 ones, I've had a search and I've seen SPL ones like these listed for z32 (but that could even have been a standard photo they use for camber arms regardless of fitment) does anyone else have camber arms like mine on their zed? Mine are this style - http://www.driftworks.com/shop/car-parts/suspension/adjustable-arms/driftworks-adjustable-arms/driftworks-camber-arms-s14-s15-r33.html Instead of - http://www.driftworks.com/shop/car-parts/suspension/adjustable-arms/driftworks-adjustable-arms/driftworks-camber-arms-s13-r32-z32.html

My 300 stallled this morning. I'd only driven a few hundred yards and was waiting at traffic lights. When I tried to pull away it stalled (it's an auto, NA). I started it again, it started fine but stalled again when I tried to drive off. And again. I started it again and gave it a load of revs to clear it. It backfired (not too hard) as I did this. Then as I tried to pull away again, it was fine. I did stall a few weeks ago too. Any idea what's wrong? I'm guessing something electrical as it backfired. Any idea what to do? I guess spray some WD40 type stuff and make sure the coil packs are firmly down on the plugs but maybe it's something mor…

Well it's been a while since i've been zedding, I had to shelve the V8 project last May after hitting £18k on the budget and having major problem with the rockers/oil flow and i've ummed and arred what to do about it the past 6/7 months and finally decided at xmas to call it a day and break it for parts. I was going to put the TT lump from rigs' car in and turn it into a TT but after spending ages trying to get the engine out in the first place i remembered how much i hated working on TT engine bays so sold that all off. Then i smashed in the front of the silver car which is still off the road until me and dad have the time to repair all the wings and bumper. …

:helpsmilie::helpsmilie: Silly question but how do you tell the difference between the twin turbo auto box and the N/A. I have an N/A and I'm convinced I was sold a Twinny box as the gearing seems to change a lot higher than the one I had previously. It's too late to change it now as its been on the car for a while now as it was sitting around but I have a feeling I may have been conned but not sure :cursing: And would it do any lasting damage :confused1::confused1: .

Strange requist I know but as with most motor manufacturers,Nissan must use generic parts through out there range. This will include the 300zx ,so there must be parts on the zx that cross over from other models in the range, and I am trying to compile a list of these parts that will cross over from all through out the Nissan range that can fit the 300xz,for instance the heater matrix from the P10 Primera, will fit the zx,there has to be more items. If anyone could help I would really appreciate it Many Thanks in advance
