After a slightly nervy drive down in my poorly zed, Jeff quickly spotted the problem (loose pipe) so while it was there I had some niggles sorted. The heater no longer clicks annoyingly  So after a cup of coffee from Lynda to recover from the horror of having to use public transport the drive back home was much more pleasant. great service, ta!!

Looking to completely isolate the rear lights (tail lights, brake lights and number plate if not all). The plan is to flick a switch in the front while driving that will just cut all of them out. I'm thinking they must all just have a main ground wire terminated onto the bodywork somewhere, if I cut that the lights should go out. I can't find anything like that for the life of me! Anyone out there tried doing similar and can point me in the right direction or anyone know these cars back to front, inside out and upside down that can help? I'm an electrician so no replies talking to me like a 4 year old. answers on a postcard to theusual address.

Have done a search but cant find much....... A couple of times since the weekend my 'power' light has flashed 16 times when I turn the ignition on and the box appears to be pulling off in second gear, as it seems to require more revs than normal to get the old girl going.Has anyone else had this problem and know a possible cause?. I am changing the box for a manual shortly, but dont really want any problems between now and then.any help or advice appreciated :)

When choosing a clutch you need to ensure your covering the performance requirements, your driving style and cost of course, however cost can sometime get in the way of making clear decisions, information, research and recommendations are the way forward. We all like a bargain but you need to be careful that any clutch you buy is matched so that all of the components work together as one unit. Below are the results of a mismatched clutch, removed today in the workshop from a zed with little in the way of drive when under power but amazingly what appeared to be complete drive at lower speeds. The 4 puck clutch plate has very hard ceramic splinter pads that a…

As the title says really..... Occasionally when I decide to give it a boot full on a motorway for example I can be doing 70, foot all the the way down. It'll kick down and usually go through that gear and without any warning part way through the next gear it just cuts all power. Bit as if I've all of a sudden plonked it in to neutral. No noises or smoke or anything.... It's a 91 tt auto import. Running 14 psi with usual stage 1 mods. Any ideas? Like I say, there's no hesitation apart from occasionally on full throttle. Cheers Joel

I have been having poor starting issues for a while now and i discovered yesterday that my S2 ptu wires had found there way to the alternator belt and the green and orange wire had worn through and was touching each other. Anyway I cut and re soldered the wires thinking I would solve my poor starting problem. However i still have the same poor starting as before. My question is with the 2 wires touching could i of fryed/screwed the PTU up or is there other things that would be causing my poor starting. Thanks

Would somebody take a look at this link and tell me what they think I'm looking at secondhand clutch options here, and if this works I can get a full triple plate for less than Exedy quoted today for replacement plates http://forums.nicoclub.com/gtr-z32-transmission-comparison-t280171.html ie. RB26 OS Giken triple plate onto a Z32 TT and want to know exactly what the issues would be, I lost track reading the thread above?

Have been thinking about changing the suspesion arms etc front and rear for Driftworks kit and was wondering if this is the way to go.......or whether to fit uprated bushes in the existing (standard) suspension components?. Which would be more cost effective in terms of actual purchase price and ease of fitment? (i would imagine bush kits are cheaper, but take longer to fit). The car is for road use with maybe to odd track day (maybe) :)

Hi all, Has anyone relocated the battery to the boot? If so what guage cables did you use? I understand the longer the distance the bigger the guage should be. Also how many cables did you run to what locations etc. Thanks Dan

Anyone know the best place to purchase genuine nismo gear? I'd quite like a strengthened clutch pivot ball from a known source and also an uprated g'box mount. Anyone purchased these from a UK supplier?
