Hi, Been searching in my pot of many bolts and come across these. Are these the correct ones to bolt the gear lever side of the gearbox to the chassis. The thread is correct and after shining a torch in the bolt holes there isnt much thread making me think these are perfect. Bolts measure 25mm in length: Thanks Dan

I am in the process of getting a spare plenum powdercoated and was wandering if deleting the pcv valves was as simple as plugging the holes on the plenum, removing the associated pipework and venting the crankcase/camcovers to atmospere using new hoses and a breather filter or two...... or am I missing something and its not that easy?.

.....one Alloy wheel. I have 19' Vortex evolutions/Zito Miracle alloys, but one front alloy is damaged around the stud holes due to the idiot I brought the car off leaving the nuts loose. I am desperatley trying to find either 1 replacement or 2 front alloys. Anyone had this issue before and apart from ditching the wheels, was you able to source 1 single alloy. Thanks in advance.

Hi guys im having trouble with my zed. I have narrowed it down to the AFM and air filter thanks to a quick call to jeff, as they seem to be getting wet when it rains. I was wondering if you guys have pictures of your nose panels and the seals around the front end as i guess im missing a seal somewhere along the lines. I will try and get some pictures of mine up after work. Thanks in advance

Finally thinking about fitting uk clocks, but i need help please: My car is a strange model, possibly series4? Is a very basic spec,97 slick-top TT, no toys at all. Which UK spec speedo will be a straight swop?? I ask this cos i think the instruments went digital control on later models or have i lost it?? As far as i know my car reads in Miles on the speedo and odometer, but dont want that crappy sticker on there, that looks like a paper clipping and felt tip. Two other qs, my model has no boost guage, how can i wire this up if i can fit the UK dials?? (It will be fitted to the uk one, and will look like a fualt if not wired and its nice to have a boost gu…

ok what a day first the drivers door wouldn`t open so i had to rib the door card of the door with it shut then broke the catch at the end of the key barrel there is an afermarket alarm fitted and i think that was causing the problem and then went to sort the drivers window out which was also not working so i replaced the switches and the relay box and the window went down about 4 inches then stopped again it seemed very tight so then i put a direct feed to the motor and nothing only sparks coming from were i was connecting the feed from. so the next question is how to replace the motor is it a bitch of a job,and what should i do about the locking cheers trev

Okay, im going to be installing and setting up a boost controller ( thankyou Nick 300 zx ) , it has 4 avaliable pre sets, question is what should the maximum setting in PSI be , taking into account i have a standard engine ( albeit chipped, HKS filter & mongose pipes ) and it is an automatic. I do not want to run the risk of killing my pride and joy for two seconds of high octane pleasure . so what do you people reccomend. thanks Neil

Well as of 5 minutes ago the missus has been turned to the dark side I was going to list a name for her but i'm being told she will be unnamed, so i'm open to suggestions. Needs some TLC but i can tidy her up. Got one very happy girly here, grinning from ear to ear from her first time driving a Zed, signing it all over and hes dropping her off tommorrow. Heck even i'm grinning after feelingj that Z buzz again after nearly 2 years. Managed to haggle down from 3.1k to 2.6k (about 1200GBP) Anyways this thread is worthless without pics.

as above . the choice of pads is endless nowadays and varies upon how and where you drive your car . mine only gets used on the road , sometimes a little bit quicker than it should be though . im in the process of fitting new discs and upgrading the fronts to 330mm ( drilled front and rear ) and hopefully a set of skyline or 350z brembo calipers although im having a job finding a set at the moment so any offers would be welcome via a pm . so the question is which pads front and rear for everyday road use that work well from cold but arnt going to fade away with a fair bit of heavy breaking thrown in . cheers guys front brembo calipers wanted aswell andy

Right then chaps and chapettes. I might very well be leaving the Zed scene but I love a good Zed pic. So 'SHOW US WHAT YOU GOT' !! Can be your favourite, worst, funniest, most random, odd, pretty........Whatever it might be pic, but has to be of your own Zed. The more random the better :thumbup1:

I need some pipework for my Greddy fmic (like a prat I sold it all off a year or so back!) The Z and the 200 have been sat for 6 weeks now without being touched  and with the crap weather and lack of time I'm really struggling to get back to them. I've haven't even been on here for nearly 2 weeks!! Any ideas on some motivation as I don't want to end up posting a 'thinking of selling post'!! :death:

A while back I managed to find a good priced tidy blue Sparco Kevlar Pro 2000 seat designed for a six point harness, the thing is I've been hunting high and low for another secondhand one but have had no luck at all Here are a few pics: I really didn't want to spend a fortune on a new one so I just accepted the fact that I wasn't going to find another one then just before New Year I spotted another blue Sparco seat fitted for a six point harness with a painted yellow plastic back on ebay....ok, so it wasn't a Pro 2000 model and it wasn't kevlar but it looked like it offered good support and with it being painted yellow, it w…

Well the old girl has been sorned for 8 months now, when i got her, she was full of crappy veilside skirts, huge rear spoiler and a manky front bumper. The bumper is back to OEM, the rear spoiler was sent off to hollowpoint as a freebie, and a new fibreglass 89 spec has been fitted along with new brake light. The skirts came off to expose all manner of rust issues, so after much removal and messing around, new parts sourced, and all the old yucky stuff replaced, new inner ,outer sills, and returns all replaced. Waited to long for my welder to turn up, so bit the bullet and got my own. After a few trails i started to weld myself. Basically anything that looked like it …
