  3. hi all, was some one looking for a adaptor kit for a 6-speed trany to z32...! here the link http://www.jimwolftechnology.com/news.asp The 350Z & Infiniti G came with a very strong 6-Speed transmission that is starting to show up more and more at the auto recyclers, making for a reasonably priced option for other high-powered Nissans. Unfortunately, it sports an integrated bell housing, making this conversion difficult at best. By scrounging an automatic tranny bell housing from an automatic that was fitted to the same motor you are adapting to, this adaptor ties everything together. Either the 07+ 350Z Concentric Release Bearing or an aftermarket C.R.C. (Tilton…

I have just started to dismantle my rear light assemblies, hoping to fit new outer lenses to my original bulb housings. Can anyone help me with finding the re usable rubber type sealant that was originally used, or something similar, I think I will need several attempts before I get it right so I am looking for the sort of sealant that can be re worked with a little heat.

Guys, Having a wee issue with my hicas. My car runs the later fully electronic system. I have tried to enter the diagnostic mode for the hicas (turn engine on turn steering wheel left and right 5 times and press brake pedal 5 times) and no matter how many times i try, it will not enter the HICAS mode. A this point the hicas light should come on, and turning the steering wheel activates the hicas whilst stationary. (the hicas light will not come on, in order for me to continue into the next part of the diagnostic where it does the self check) Has any one else had issues getting into the hicas diagnostic. I managed it ok on my first zed, but not this one. …

How often do you people just go for a drive? without a destination? Just for the fun of driving? It's very rare i get the urge to just go but took the Zed out today on a 40 mile drive and loved every minute. No where in particular, just a drive along the coast, then through some town centres and back home. Nice and easy. Just cruising, not racing around. Throughly enjoyed it :) Peter

Just got a quote for chrome powder coating to do my wheels again. £220 for drive in and out same day. Just wondering if thats a good price and has anybody seen chrome powder coating for alloys ? The laquers all went cloudy on my 18's and was thinking powder rather than getting them re pollished and laquered again. Laquer will no doubt eventually tarnish but powder coating doesnt. What you think - polish or powder ?

Some Z32 cars, like mine, have the worn out black covering removed, to reveal a lovely polished aluminium finish, on the windscreen & targa roof side strips. I think this looks great & more in keeping with today's look. Now, has anyone done this to the black & rubber strips, under each side window ? Again, I think this could look very cool. Many new cars, like the Jaguar XJ, have this look. What do you guys think ? Tim

One for the Zed and GTR owners Just wondering: If you attempted to fit an R33 GTR 'pull type' multi plate clutch (mated to a Z32 8 hole flywheel) to a Z32 TT would this work or is the Z32 a 'push type' clutch or has a different sized clutch cover? cheers

My stereo sounds a bit tinny and rubbish. The head unit is ok - it's a Sony one a few years old but I still think that's not the problem as it was 200 odd quid when it was new. The speakers are originals in the front and some very nasty cheap ones in the back which I put in when one of the original rear ones stoped working. If I was going to replace the speakers, are the front ones easy to get to? I remember the back ones were easy, just pry the cover off. Any recommendations for speakers? JBL 6x4 seem to be popular from a search for the rears. I don't know anything about speakers and stereos but I'd like it to sound better. I don't want bigger speaker…

Got a oil temp gauge in my car and nearly all wired up except for the sensor unit itself. There appears to be a blanked off port next to the oil filter that would be ideal however it doesn't screw directly in. Who knows what size adapter I need? An ebay link to the required adapter would really help!
