The Zedworld Team managed to sort my Zed out good and proper on Friday. Car runs brilliantly now and sounds superb. definitely worth the drive. So a big Thanks To Jeff, Jamie and Lynda for all there help. And also a big thanks to Mark, picked up the sub box he built for me before Christmas on my drive back home. The build quality is flawless, can't wait to get it fitted hopefully one day this week. So big Thanks to them and for the forum.....

Not my Zed, my sisters Daewoo Matiz. Yesterday i changed the front pads on my sisters car and thought as a precaution i'd bleed the brakes too....oh how i wish i hadnt! The problem i'm having is there is NOTHING coming out, no air, no brake fluid, nothing! Pump the pedal and it goes straight to the floor with very little resistance. I've tried everything i can think of. First i tried only bleeding the front calipers, then as that didnt work, tried bleeding them all in sequence, furthest from master cylinder to the closest, no joy. I even tried attaching a hand pump (that sucks) to the bleeding hose to try and suck the fluid out and nothing!! Theres no leaks in…

The top of my dash, along the front edge of the vent, is lifting and I was wandering if anyone has come up with a solution that doesnt involve removing the dash.i was thinking along the lines of a plate the same shape as the vent that would screw onto it with an overlap that sits on top of the dash and will pull the lifted section down as its screws down. Anyone done anything similar?

Andy has got his spot on at the front As have a few others. How do you get it to look like this without rubbing. Do you remove the wheel arch liner? if so whats behind that can collect crap and rust etc. or would you just waxoil all behind it?? More pics would be cool if you have any :)

hey folk, got my car ready for MOT tomorrow. shes been stood for 5 months needing various bits, but i think im on top of them all :-) but as i was letting her get up to teperature on the drive, i noticed the boost gauge is dead. is there afuse or simple plug i can check? i know it was working when i replaced the BMC as i had to check which vacci hose ran to the gauge. but now theres no movement and the needle sits at the far left as if the ignition was off all the time. any ideas? cheers

A friend came to help me jump start the Zed as the batter is flat. Unfortunately he put the leads on the wrong way on his van. Result was smoke from the fuse box. Pulled the cables and removed the fuse but where do I get a replacement from ? Its the one furthest from the fuel pump. Mine is blue with a loop of thick wire on top. The wire has melted. Hopefully that is all that its done. Does anyone have a spare ? I really need to get it going for tomorrow.

I found this many many years back on the internet, saved it on my computer and then grew up. I'm now driving and sure enough have a 300ZX. No idea where I found the picture, nor can I find it online anymore. Call me weird but I quite like the look of it. Can anyone name the bodykit, spoiler, mirrors and wheels or know anything else about it...?

Have been tinkering in the garage and was wondering if anyone has ever made a mock front end of a gearbox that would hold a atarter motor in place just to turn over a engine to do a compression test while a engine is out of the car. Maybe cutting a broken gearbox up( grinding it off after front part). Then it could be bolted up to engine easily. Or is there another way??. Ive got a powerfull sds drill but even that hasnt got enough guts in it to turn the front pulley cog fastenough to do it that way.

What do I do ? Z sitting in the garage all dusty looking sad bored and lonely. front pads and discs need replacing now. I am seriously thinking of a brake upgrade. There is a good group buy on DB power but that means I will have to wait until end feb early march to use the Z. Maybe I have answered my own question. Decisions Decisions

I've recently bought some Tein coilovers from Vodkashots and as stated in his for sale thread, they will need a good clean up! I'm thinking of stripping them down and having the springs powder coated but as for the rest of the arm I'm not sure where to start? There is a fair amount of rust so I want to take them right back and then re-spray them as close to the original look as possible. So, what cleaning aids and tools will up to doing the job, inc primers and paint etc? Cheers Matt
