I was just wondering about the gold Certified by Nissan Sticker that lives on my rear quarter glass. Mine looks like it has someone's name written on the back of it. Does anyone know the story of these and what the signature signifies on the back?

I finally got round to swapping my intermittent clocks for a UK set I bought months ago. I used to know all this, but it's been a few years and my brain is older and smaller It turns out what I was sold as a series one UK set is actually a series two, so it doesn't just swap out the hole unit ? So I'm swapping the speedo unit over, that's easy enough. What I can't remember is the mileometer. I think the mileometer is fed from the output of the speedo unit (via the plug on the back) so swapping in a UK speedo into jap clocks will convert the mileometer into miles automatically? Does this sound right? Or do I need to also swap in th…

Hi all, been a while. Finally getting a chance to look over the Zed again. Aswell as the brake system needing looking at (at least 1 burst pipe) I have no headlights! Car is a UK 2+2 PFA of the one of the last times I drove it. a few years ago now. I could do with some advice or a steer in the right direction. At some point someone has fitted HID's to the car and done what looks like the earth mod so the flashers don't turn off the headlights. About 2 years ago I had 1 headlight randomly stop working, bulb was fine so I just fed a wire from the working one to the other and that worked for a year or so. Now I have none. The das…

Just a general question, has anybody used the sfs performance silicone pcv hose kit? I was wondering if you knew they are flouro lined to stop the oil bleeding through the hose walls. I currently have z1 silicone hoses on, they have been on the car 6/7 years, but I’ve noticed this morning oil leaking through the hose walls.

When my zed was in for paint the body shop told me they saw a small sensor hanging down around the front - had a look and its the ambient temperature sensor. Don't remember seeing it before, I had the bumper off a few days before they did and didn't do anything with it, but they said they didn't touch it either. Maybe it was just tucked up somewhere.... Anyway, I can't for the life of my find where the little b*****d is supposed to go. Service manual shows under the crash bar, but I can't see anything that lines up with the dowl and hole. Anyone got any good pictures of where it goes? Mines a 95 series 4 with auto AC, don't know if it ever changed through the years …

So, Had an idea to drum up some old conversations that may or may not work. All i hear from my kids these days is the words challenge which can drive me nuts so i'm not going to use it again. Instead i invite you all to go find and old thread that is still relevant in most parts and add to its thread with something that is more than just a 'bump' word, add to the conversation, bring it forward and lets see what comes up. *** Only rule is that it must be at least 4 years old.

After importing mine in 2016 I FINALLY got round to getting some paint work done that I'd been meaning to do from the beginning. ...but not after I opportunistically bought some CZP intercoolers. I saw them for sale after someone had test fitted them to their car for a few days (without an engine), but then decided to scrap the car. So I got them for a good price, and thought it would be good to get the front bumper off and get them fitted, before the bumper was resprayed, so that I didn't have to take it off again. I'm not much of a photo person, but I got a few. I was pleasantly surprised how easy it was to take the bumper off! Here's an original in…

so I'm getting all the little niggly jobs done on the zed and I have a power steering leak, am I right in thinking it's the high pressure hose (from the pump to the rack) is the most common leak point? jimmer did say to me which pipe it was, but that was 3 or 4 years ago. anyhow if this is the case where is the best place to get one from? I see AMS do an aftermarket kevlar version and z1 do a rebuild option but that has a $250 core charge attached or I can get one rebuilt in the uk for around £80. which option are you all using ?

Hi I have a fuel smell but it’s only when the windows are open both or either. No smell from heater vents, air con not really working but in this weather having to have the windows shut like being in a greenhouse. Where should I start looking, all fuel pipes under bonnet have been changed with new clips, new fuel cap as well.

While driving to work yesterday, I looked down to see the speedo say I was doing 62mph. As I was in a 30 and in a line of cars, I thought it was strange. When I stopped to give way at a roundabout, it stayed at 62. I did google the issue, but everyones posts/threads seem to be the speedo stuck at zero. Is this to do with the speed sensor on the gearbox? The steering, is not heavy and seems to adjust its self between slow and fast driving.

So I was going to wait closer to the day I was ready to Purchase, but to be honest been going astray looking at GTO,s, Skylines, 200sx and Rx7's lol sorry. But to be honest found myself coming back to the 300zx, so decided to become a premium member to seal the deal lol. Like stated previously looking at purchasing around end of march next year only because I'll be away with work in a few weeks and don't want to purchase a car and leave it on my drive with know one to keep an eye on it. I will be interested in a 90-91 manual TT in good condition with a few mods or standard doesn't matter, only reason I'm after this year it's because of the emissions last time i checke…
