Hi ive just removed my fuel tank so I can do a bit of welding I was thinking of powder coating the tank an a few bits why there off as anyone done this I was worried the tank might have the the two external pipes may be solder on an where it's press together thanks

After importing mine in 2016 I FINALLY got round to getting some paint work done that I'd been meaning to do from the beginning. ...but not after I opportunistically bought some CZP intercoolers. I saw them for sale after someone had test fitted them to their car for a few days (without an engine), but then decided to scrap the car. So I got them for a good price, and thought it would be good to get the front bumper off and get them fitted, before the bumper was resprayed, so that I didn't have to take it off again. so I'm getting all the little niggly jobs done on the zed and I have a power steering leak, am I right in thinking it's the high pressure hose (from the pump to the rack) is the most common leak point? jimmer did say to me which pipe it was, but that was 3 or 4 years ago. anyhow if this is the case where is the best place to get one from? I see AMS do an aftermarket kevlar version and z1 do a rebuild option but that has a $250 core charge attached or I can get one rebuilt in the uk for around £80. which option are you all using ?

Hi I have a fuel smell but it’s only when the windows are open both or either. No smell from heater vents, air con not really working but in this weather having to have the windows shut like being in a greenhouse. Where should I start looking, all fuel pipes under bonnet have been changed with new clips, new fuel cap as well.

While driving to work yesterday, I looked down to see the speedo say I was doing 62mph. As I was in a 30 and in a line of cars, I thought it was strange. When I stopped to give way at a roundabout, it stayed at 62. I did google the issue, but everyones posts/threads seem to be the speedo stuck at zero. Is this to do with the speed sensor on the gearbox? The steering, is not heavy and seems to adjust its self between slow and fast driving.

Drove to work yesterday and although the heater setting was set to 18, the outside thermometer was was saying -86 and it was blowing very hot air. No matter what I tried, it would only blow hot! Has anyone had this before?

Hi I've removed the rear bumper ready to remove the tank for some welding I need to do the 2 straps that hold the tank in position do you just need to remove the 2 bolts nearest to the rear of the car or do you have to remove all 4 thanks stephen

Z32 1994 I want to turn off the dimmer dashboard lights. I can not see AC... because when I turn the headlights on, dashboard lights go down. When I drive in daytime with sunglasses I dont see the AC... because the lights on dash are dimmed. How can I fix it, that dashboard lights will be always MAX on.

Morning all, when removing the interior door card to my drivers door, I dropped the screw which affixes the top interior door trim panel to the door. My car is a 93 model so seatbelt is not on the door. See attached pictures of the panel I’m referring to and one also of the passenger door with the screw still there. I’m aware you can probably source these screws from CZP or Z1 but does anyone know the spec of the screw at all? So I could maybe source it in the uk somewhere. Thanks! I have an OEM replica 89 spec spoiler fitted and I recently had it resprayed together with my rear hatch and the body shop said the 3rd brake light must never have worked as they can't find a connector for it. I am due to collect the car tomorrow but does anyone know if splicing needs to be done to make the 3rd brake light work? If so, where would be the best place to do that or is there a hidden connector somewhere?

My zeds going in for some paint next week, both bumpers and a few minor things here and there. But also the rear hatch is getting looked at as there is a tiny bubble in one of the bottom corners. So the rear window is coming out, bit nervous as it's blue tint so hard to replace if it breaks, so fingers crossed! I asked if there was anything I needed to supply for that, and the shop said no....I'm wondering though, whats required to fit the glass back in afterwards? Is there anything I should be thinking about?

Well I'm finally getting my finger out with this with some help with a gentle boot up the ass from the wife lol Question is though as I kinda neglected it for a bit after I had done 80% of the wrap a few of the panels have been scratched or slight damage to the wrap. Should I stay with the purple black iridescent wrap or go down another colour route?

hi guys, my zircon condenser was detected with a leak a couple of years ago and I have never got round to fixing it, anyhow with time on my hands at the mo I thought it would be quite nice t get it working again. so it turns out Z1 haven't had any of their replacements in stock for a long time, Nissan is NLA on all the part numbers available, and I found Prasco listed them which were made by Ava cooling (there are a couple of car part suppliers showing up in google ads charging £900 for them) so I contacted both Prasco & Ava cooling direct, Prasco have no stock and Ava cooling have advised me they no longer make them.
