hi guys I have a JDM series one car with uk clocks fitted, every time I come to a stop a get a 'bong' from the car. is there anyway to disable this? I think the only other time I hear the bong sound is when I open the door with the lights on.

Random question, are the rear number plate lights the same as the ones on the micra??

Hi I have a pair of doors (shells) No door cards trim etc in Red they are pretty solid would need a paint etc to suit, the passenger side has the window motor still in (working) NO Glass, if anyone wants them collection only from Fareham, Hampshire give me a shout, if not will put on ebay as want to get them out of shed, i believe they came off a 1991 UK spec but not certain. Hi all I bought a 300 a couple weeks ago and I’m slowly crossing off all the things wrong with it and one of those things were the mirrors not being hooked up upon inspecting the drivers side mirror I found that it was a mirror with heating so I cut away the little strip of plastic blocking the original 1991 clip from going into the mirrors wiring and got it connected but the mirror will only fold in but won’t adjust. Anyone know what it could be?

Hi folks, Just wanting a wee bit of help, preferably with pictures. So a bit of back story, my Zed has been in the car garage basically since the start of lock down for mot work, recently they made a lot of progress on doing the work after a back log of customer cars but one of the rear hicas hose burst when they started the car up to go for the test (personally feel like I dodged a bullet with that one). I've got my hands on a Hardrace hicas delete kit which is perfect for getting shot of the rear rack, arms and ball joints but doesn't come with the fittings to re-circulate the fluid at the front end of the car (I'm keeping the TT pump and pot but w…

Hi guys just a quick one, I have a boost controller on the car but while replacing injectors I’ve noticed the origins boost solenoids are still connected. Vac line from the air intake I know can be removed and plugged, however does the electrical connected to them still need to be plugged in or can I unplug it?

Any UK based suppliers that can get bearings for the zed tt. Seems a general 2 month back order from the USA for all bearings no matter what the make.

Hi to all members, I hope someone can help. I have a Nissan 300zx, z31, Year 1984, Automatic, L/H/D. Digital type Dash. Everything on Dash works, except Speedo and obviously this stops the Cruise Control from functioning. Because everything else works I am thinking it could be the Gearbox Speed Sensor. I have just Imported this car from the USA. If anybody can shine some light on this I would be delighted. Also, does anybody know a website for buying aftermarket Nissan 300 zx parts, or a good Breakers Yard who Specialise . Thanks a million. Regards, Kieran

Hi, I recently purchased a 300 and I have the current problem with idle and black smoke 300zx TT black smoke and bouncing idle 500-1750rpm when warm when it’s cold it sits at 1500rpm but as soon as it’s warm it just keep bouncing up and down from 500-1750rpm with black smoke any help or suggestions or anyone who has had this problem before please let me know thanks

I've seen 3 or 4 (might have seen one twice) from nissan now, 2 from https://nissangenuine.com/ and 2 from a local dealer and they all leave a lot to be desired. Here's a few photos of what I'm seeing Crack (where it changes colour): Swirl marks and a crack: Swirl marks: Crack on the edge: Surely this can't be normal?!? The dealers are very uninterested in helping find a decent one. Hanwell today were trying to tell me they couldn't see a crack when it was blindingly obvious. I've asked CZP if they can supply a better one, not sure what else I can do

I need to replace the fuel (and brake) lines that run front to back. The brake lines, my mechanic and I are happy with. The fuel lines look to be bigger, does anyone know the diameter? We think its 8mm, but need it confirming. Also what material should they be? Copper, like the brake lines? Steel which corrodes? Stainless? Can I buy preformed sections that go up and over the rear subframe? I have spent the last three days on the internet and seem to only find info about braided stainless line for the engine bay. Just spotted this youtube video of scotty kilmer, a big time mechanic youtuber talking about selling his toyota celica for a nissan 300zx. I've watched a few of his videos in the past for servicing tips and so forth and I know he tells it like it is and doesnt bullshit, so to see him praise how easy it is to work on our cars as well and recommend buying one to collect is great in my opinion. What do you guys think?

Hi everyone been cutting rust out of the sill ready for welding ive notice that the renforcement sill was spot welded to the outer sill I can't see what strength it gives I could understand if it was welded to the inner sill I could see that giving it strength

hi guys just a quick one, just had a set of SFS silicone pcv hoses delivered and I've just noticed they don't have restrictors in or flame arrestors in the front breathers do I just swap these from my old pcv hoses or can I fit without? my current hoses are z1 silicone and they aren't flouro lined so leaking oil through the hose, at least the sfs hoses are lined.
