Discovered today that the ignition barrel on the Zed is goosed. Key can be removed at any position etc. CZP sell a JDM one, but states for Manual only. My car is an ex auto, converted to a manual a number of years ago. I don't know how the conversion is done, so wondering if the manual lock barrel would work?

hi guys just a quick one, my car is currently running a stage one map which when jimmer pulled it up on consult he said dosen't look like a uk map because of quite a few red areas on there (I have no idea) but I believe it was remapped in Japan before it came over. anyhow ever since I have had the car I get popping from the exhaust when I'm on over run, which I guess is unburnt fuel entering the exhaust. would changing to a more uk friendly map get rid of this? it currently sounds like the local boy racers fiesta with a baked bean can exhaust. I have also noticed a vast improvement in acceleration after fitting newer style injectors on the car. my current set up 370…

So then. After a 380 mile round trip with a car transporter (which inconveniently blew its turbo 200 miles from home) I finally made it back home with todays purchase. Just about everyone knows this car, even the Rozzers in Lithuania probably know it. So I'll not do much waffling about the cars history. Hi Guys, does anybody know ball park cost figure for fitting only of a oil pump ?

So my pump is dieing, it works when it feels like it which is a bit annoying. Ive been looking online for a new pump. Ebay only has a couple of 2nd hand TT versions. Mine is a NA so the pump is different I believe, it doesnt have the extra connections for the HICAS pump. I know it's a "how long is a piece of string" question, but I'm wondering if anyone who has had the work done recently has a ball park figure on the cost of inner and outer sill replacement (rear end). The car I'm considering defo has rust on the outer, so I will assume there's a chunk of the inner needs work too. I can cut and prep myself, but my mig welding ability isn't up to welding in new parts. Any price indicators greatly appreciated.

I have a '94 Nissan 300ZX convertible with a stainless stail exhaust, I want to replace it by an original again. The thing is, I can get one from a 2+2, but my convertible is a two seater, is it possible to use the exhaust? (maybe cut out a small section out of it to make it shorter?)

hi guys I have a JDM series one car with uk clocks fitted, every time I come to a stop a get a 'bong' from the car. is there anyway to disable this? I think the only other time I hear the bong sound is when I open the door with the lights on.

Hi I have a pair of doors (shells) No door cards trim etc in Red they are pretty solid would need a paint etc to suit, the passenger side has the window motor still in (working) NO Glass, if anyone wants them collection only from Fareham, Hampshire give me a shout, if not will put on ebay as want to get them out of shed, i believe they came off a 1991 UK spec but not certain. Hi all I bought a 300 a couple weeks ago and I’m slowly crossing off all the things wrong with it and one of those things were the mirrors not being hooked up upon inspecting the drivers side mirror I found that it was a mirror with heating so I cut away the little strip of plastic blocking the original 1991 clip from going into the mirrors wiring and got it connected but the mirror will only fold in but won’t adjust. Anyone know what it could be?

So a bit of back story, my Zed has been in the car garage basically since the start of lock down for mot work, recently they made a lot of progress on doing the work after a back log of customer cars but one of the rear hicas hose burst when they started the car up to go for the test (personally feel like I dodged a bullet with that one). Hi guys just a quick one, I have a boost controller on the car but while replacing injectors I’ve noticed the origins boost solenoids are still connected. Vac line from the air intake I know can be removed and plugged, however does the electrical connected to them still need to be plugged in or can I unplug it?
