To some, one of the most annoying 'features' of the Z32 is the extra wipe when turning off the windscreen wipers. Here is a solution published on TT.net. http://www.twinturbo.net/nissan/300zx/forums/general/view/2645417/New-video-for-the-weekend.html Details here on how to safely open up the wiper control module located on the RH (OS) inner wing near the firewall. http://www.twinturbo.net/nissan/300zx/forums/general/view/2645450/It-works-fantastic-Thank-you-for-sorting-this-out.html

It was the first decent, mild and dry day of the year - so I thought, why not take the Zed out for a spin. Did anyone else think the same.....? I covered about 50 miles across the Chilterns - so technically still local (and I did combine it with the supermarket run) - nice A-roads, a blast on the M40 and some traffic-free B-road action. I wasn't the only modern classic car owner out and about either. I saw some nice 80s and 90s machinery on my travels - so it seems a few others had the same idea! From a couple of '90s Porsche 911s, a 944, a very smart R129 Merc SL500, a Lotus Esprit and a Lotus Elan. I guess today was the day, that people thought their cars had …

So I'm looking at buying my new z next month but can't decide. I can get one imported from Japan by a decent company within my budget and they claim its spotless or should I just get one in the UK, plenty about. From what I can see the car coming from Japan will be low mileage, looks pretty clean on pics, underside will be treated and all I'll have to do is tax and insurance it when it arrives everything would have been sorted registration, mot ect. only downside is it's an auto.

Anyone know what theses indicators are? Just so I know what my options are if I do change them. Also the Perspex strip, I’ve never seen them like that, aren’t they usually black??‍♂️

Got round to finally subscribing and getting pictures up of the zed. Was taken before it was put into hibernation. Just sorting a few bits out to bolt onto it, cosmetic wise.

Also I noticed there’s two type of radiator bottom hose (big L shape) one set is chrome with 2 silicone sleeves and the is just a big silicone hose, has anyone fitted either? Does the chrome pipe rattle about? Not sure what keeps it in place.

I am looking for a pair of front TT calipers for my car. The 30mm iron TT version. I tried to do the brakes today at a friends house as he has all the kit needed and to cut a long story short the discs didn't fit because I need the 30mm iron calipers rather than the 26mm ones and to make matters worse the thread for the brake pipe in the actual caliper has, in the past, been crossed threaded and stripped. I'm glad we found that issue as I've been driving it around for years and it could have popped off at anytime. The car had to be trailered back as the brakes cant be fixed without some new calipers, so its sitting outside looking rather sorry for its self. If …

Hi all, I’m in the process of restoring my 91 auto TT 2+2 and the ecu needs to be replaced due to a previous owner having ‘fiddled’ with it unprofessionally. Can anyone recommend a place to get one from? Preferably an upgraded version to improve performance. Thanks

I've seen Zeds with 350Z seats in a fair few times but wondered if it's that difficult to adopt seats from another car ? The seats in my Mrs BMW 1 Series are full leather (non-electric but heated) and pretty comfortable, and are low too. Would these go in a Zed ? My drivers seat has lost it's shape and I've been looking around. 300ZX leather interiors are like rocking horse s**t ! Can't afford a retrim at the moment. Merc E Coupes have some nice seats too and obviously much more modern. I would of course avoid electric controlled from the door and airbags.

HI Guys I have a twin turbo polished plenum to sell. I wondered if anyone could advise how much these are usually priced at. I bought it quite a few years a go and it's never made it to the car. I know it all depends on condition, so I've added a few pics. Any feedback is much appreciated, cheers.

  18. I know this subject has come up in the past but it now looks like the UK authorities have now made the fitment of aftermarket HID (and LED) bulbs into exisisting Halogen lamps an MOT failure. The change made to the latest MOT inspection manual (11th January 2021) now reads: Section 4.1.4 Compliance with requirements “Existing halogen headlamp units should not be converted to be used with high intensity discharge (HID) or light emitting diode (LED) bulbs. If such a conversion has been done, you must fail the headlamp.” https://www.gov.uk/guidance/mot-inspection-manual-for-private-passenger-and-light-commercial-vehicles/4-lamps-reflectors-and-e…

What's the current thinking of the best place to source 99 spec rear lights (and centre panel) from? ZCentre is £552 for the 3 panels inc vat, but without shipping. Is it cheaper to source from the states even after taking shipping and taxes into account?

Hi all. Im currently trying to mount a factory steering wheel to my car in my newly started long journey of restoring it back to former glory. Ive bought a wheel in beautiful condition to replace a quick release alcantara type setup. Im really not a fan of this due to how intrusive it is, the wheel has a deep dish and coupled with the mounting boss it protrudes too far in for the driving position. So I have the wheel, the horn with cruise buttons, 17mm nut... but I believe Im missing a slip ring. My car is a 1992 (non airbag) non-turbo model with cruise. Im finding myself at a loss trying to A. Identify which part I need, and then B. Source one. I put the word out on …
