These are not the Aruba Dave GZA replicas and are of a flatter design and possibly poorer quality compared to the OEM or GZA keys. However they are available now: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/nissan-300zx-Fairlady-Z32-Master-Blank-Titanium-key-Replica/184520268543?hash=item2af643daff:g:vVMAAOSw5epfmJyh The seller's first batch sold out pretty quickly: https://www.ebay.com/itm/nissan-300zx-Fairlady-Z32-Master-Blank-Titanium-key-Replica-/184513489757?_trksid=p2047675.l2557&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&nma=true&si=pB%2BztZ6Kl8C78Sar%2B%2FPD1BxQKXk%3D&orig_cvip=true&nordt=true&rt=nc

As I have just replied to Garry about discussing Zeds, I will just bring you up to date with my zed. I imported the Z myself back in 2014. At the end of 2019 my 3rd auto box failed. I managed to source a full manual conversion in January 2020. New Exedy lightweight flywheel, clutch plate & bearing. New manual gearbox loom purchased. All coil packs & spark plugs replaced Front sills replaced tomorrow & ready to drive home Friday all being well. Art

My zed is near completion, I guess my insurance company need to know? also do I have to inform DVLA that my zed is now a manual? Not related! Before the work started I couldn’t get the key out of the ignition & it is still there & it will not come out! When it was an auto, when you put the shifter in park & turn the ignition off it would click then the key would release. Any body had this problem with the zed? Art

Hi all. Not sure if many still remember me, it’s been a good 10+ years since I’ve been on here. Just been looking at getting a zed again maybe ?. What’s the zed scene like these days? Who’s about that’s good to work on them and get parts? Used to use Jeff @ zedworld and Zcentre for my old zed. Also I’ve seen an Impul on eBay for £12k what’s peoples opinion on this? I would really be looking at getting it converted to manual though.

Probably one of the most documented Z32's the SCC series of articles published in the late '90s covered many aspects of tuning a road going Z32 including engine, drivetrain, suspension and brakes. The series were a blueprint on how to build a Z32 back in the day and helped the community with the development of an extensive aftermarket parts market. https://motoiq.com/1995-z32-300zxtt/ An example of the depth covered in the SCC series is in the link below. https://motoiq.com/engine-tech-building-the-nissan-vg30dett-part-1/

Hi all, I’ve got a completely random issue here. Yesterday I noticed when I parked car at work (with headlights off) that my reverse lights are stuck on, then I engaged reverse and back to neutral then they turned off. Tonight I went out and as soon as I turned headlights on, the reverse lights are stuck on. I reversed a couple time’s and went forward and back on my driveway to see if it was the switch getting stuck engaged, but it didn’t turn off, nor during my ten minute journey. For the past week I’ve also had a very wet drivers side floor under the carpet, I can feel it’s drenched. I’m assuming the bottom of the front targa drain has become disconnected and drain…

I was going to change my thermostat the other day but I ended up knocking the yellow wire out of the terminal it was in. I noticed the cooling fan was now running fast. I pushed the yellow wire back in and restarted and the fan was running normal again. I found this vw plug so I soldered the wire together and plugged it on. The fan started running fast again. Drove it for about 10 minutes and it all sorted its self out. Today went out in it revs are at 1500 and won’t settle down. Tap the accelerator the res drop feels like it wants to cut out. I noticed when I got to where I was going I could smell a eggy smell. Switched the engine off and it wouldn’t restart. Le…

So basically the cats have started to crumble (as the standard exhausts do on these) so theres a blow in the exhaust, I have downpipes and test pipes (all new gaskets, stud, nuts etc are with them) sitting around that I bought a while ago to do the work. My questions are: 1. If I were to fit the test pipes that I have sitting around, would they fit straight onto the standard downpipes? . 2. If the test pipes don't fit (even if they do), can the downpipes be replaced without having to pull the engine? My Zed is a 1993 manual twin turbo, UK spec 2+2. Cheers in advance for any help.

Hi Can anyone offer any advice on how to realistically Value a Zed for a selling Price and is Ebay the best Media to use, i have had a look on there and they seem to be going for quite a high price. Also i presume you would not achieve a fair price if you Part Exchange. Simon

The electrical sleeve to the gearbox speed sensor (1991 auto) has split and one wire is severed, everything seems to be working except the HICAS light is on. Has anyone come across this before. I will not have a chance to repair and see what happens for a few weeks but am curious.

The arm of the HICAS is impacting the edge of the rear rims (18”) when operating. The car has been in storage for some time and during that time had adjustable coil overs fitted. Does anyone have any advice on how this can be solved a) increase the ride height, b) fit wheel spacers, c) change rims (want to avoid that one).
