Hi guys I've been having what seems to be the standard o'heating probs.Decided to go for a big flush and add redline 'wetter water'. In the process, found that when engine is hot, the viscous coupling to the fan gets erratic, rough in operation and sometimes stops when at tickover - just when you really want it. Anyone had this prob Can it be fixed or is it a new coupling thing. if it is, any ideas on cost to buy?? Thanks experts [This message has been edited by bryane (edited 17-08-2002).]

Been thinking, apparently you can wire one of the harness connectors to the injector duty line or the throttle position sensor line on the ECU. You can't do both which is a bit of a bugger - I'd like to keep an eye on whether my injectors are maxing out and for day to day I like to know if I'm flat out... Any thoughts on wiring both lines to a simple 2 way selector switch so you can take your pick?? Obviously you'd only switch when all power was off - any flaws with my plan??? Cheers, RobH

I know its not a Zed issue, but how lucky am I ? I had a rattle in my new pimp motor coming from inside the cam cover, a nut from inside came loose and decided to wedge its self between the head and the left pully causing the pully to fracture but thank god didnt break, it fractured all around the. so its a new pully and cam belt might as well whislt im at it.. git!! ------------------ Live Web Cam

Normally i let the water out of the valve's & pipe's on the monthly check/service. Then some one told me to drill a 5mm hole in the lowest corner of the plastic collector box.....Sorted I thought......NOT! Now it sounds like a Labrador on 40 Hamlett a day - a two tone wheeeze & sigh! How hard is it to get shot of the whole system & plug the exhaust? harve
