Anyone found an alternative to the thin black strip that goes alonf the bottom of the doors and the read bumper. Nearly passed out when I asked Nissan the price of a replacement.

Hi there, does anyone know where I can get a clutch for my 300z TT at a reasonable price? I'm supposed to be going on holiday next month & so I'm skint at the moment! It doesn't matter if it's a stock clutch because my car is only running about 320BHP. Cheers.

I replaced the vacuum line to the driver side AIV with Samco hose. Within 4 weeks it had been sliced through by contact against the endge of the hole between the engine way and the wheel arch. Any ides how to stop this happening agin. That hole is damn tight with all the other stuff going through

hi guys i have a customer who has just brought 1987 300zx.the previous owner has had a few headlight problems.we have no dip beam,and only one main beam to one side.who ever has looked at this before have bodged the wires to the head lamps there seems to be quite a few relays and at the moment i have no idea what's what.so what i need is a wire diagram and the location of any headlamp relays ect.or maybe there a common fault that you maybe able to shed some light. thank in advanced john.

Had to take off my rhs boost pipe to the throttle body N/S to find a screw that got dropped amongst the plumbing. When I tried to fit it back on again the throttle body end got all crumbly and bits broke off. So now its back on with duct tape to hold the boost. Not pretty but it works. Nissan want silly money for these pipes. What alternatives? I heard of Samco. Willie

just got home from santa pod USC blinding weekend took the old girl down the strip on sat and got a early 14 seconds which i was pretty happy with on standard boost ended up racing next to another ZX TT and kicked his BUTT dont think he was to happy.

GUYS WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON!! since i recently got my motor, it needed alot of work doing to it... jus got it sorted and 2day my first challenge! SUBARU..... didnt stand a chance ( ok it wasnt that bad ) but surely my 300TT can do better, standard?!?!?! please, somebody say yes!!! jaz

What are the biggest wheels you can put on a 300ZX ? 20" ? 22" ? I'm assuming (other things being equal) that the bigger the better ? I know bigger wheels should make the car handle better, but make the ride harder. Why do many wheels only made to a certain size ?

OK hope someone will know the answer to this. At the moment I've got my Nissan tt registed under my dads name for insurance purposes and myself as a second driver. The question is can he transfer the car over to me and still stay on the same insurance, him being the first named driver. Insurance is I think around £700 fully comp with CIS. Hi, I have found a 91 reg 300zx N.A. model. Can some show me a pic of the standard alloys that come with this car, as I was wondering what they look like. I dont like the set on the car i am going to buy. I think the salesman said they were 17" - is this standard? Anyone recommend a place for buying some nice/decent price alloys on line? Thanks Barry

Hi guys Im getting a bit worried at the mo cos I bought my Z32 TT thinking it was a very fast car. Ive had it several months but havent as yet driven it as im slowly doing it up, new bumpers skirts etc. However looking at some performance stats on an US site, it says that the 1/4 mile time of a TT Z is 14.9 secs! Yes this looks fast but my mate has a MG maestro Turbo, and that according to specs found on the net does 1/4 mile in 14.42. Oh my god, im going to get beat by a austin rover, how embaresing. Mine is a jap spec, no cats, stainless exhausts and K&N ind kit. Does anyone know what my or the correct performance spec are. Cheers guys.
