Hi ive just bought my first z 5 days now its just to much fun. its an import twin turbo just come over. I have posted the same question on the tech forum but noone is there.How do you use the auto box? I have overdrive, AT power, centre position and hold HELP!!!!!!!!I cant work it out(Jap handbook!)

Hi to all I have just got my first z love it to bits its a twin turbo auto One problem what and how do you use the auto properley iam used to a manual. what is the AT switch centre position, power, and hold also the over drive switch what exactly does it do.Hope somone can help.Thanks Yam

Passed dark blue Z leaving Mold heading for the A55 just leaving Mold. We flashed each other - I was in my White TT, reg. J 300 DT. I saw long blonde hair - female driver ? It looked really nice - not sure now if white is the best colour !! Seeing more Zeds every day !!

Hi, I should be getting by new ZX on Saturday! It has a cat 1 alarm/mob. Obviously i am worried about someone trying to nick it! How good is the cat 1 stuff and should i get a secondary security device, like some sort of steering wheel lock etc????? Does anyone use/recommend a secondary security device?? ...just come back from 2000 mile trip down to Provence and back in my Z and didn't see another Z anywhere. Apart from a weird incident half way up Mount Ventoux. It's a favourite road of mine, worth the drive. It's the one the Tour de France goes up so it's got all of the cyclists names painted all over it. Anyway half way up there's this yellow Z, French registered lhd TT parked on the road with this 30yr old (ish) blond in leather trousers and a white t shirt leaning against the back of the car. Saw one on way home yesterday. It was a citroen estate something - white - with a high level spoiler sticking up over the high rear end. Also had a white sticker on front window saying Top Speed or something. Looked a right fookin mess ! How can anyone think they look good in bespoilered and stickered sheds FFS ?!!

Does anyone know if all models have an expansion tank? Mine's a 1990 TT Auto (UK spec) and as far as I can see the overflow pipe just vents to air. Is it hidden somewhere in the inner wing? ------------------

H-reg, Twin Turbo 2+2. approx 70K miles, regularly serviced, imported about 3 years ago. Has had recent conversion from Auto to Manual (With engineers report!). Therefore has torqier Auto engine! Other than that, the car is pretty standard apart from a HKS air filter. I've run ECU diagnostics on it last night & everything is 100%. Both O2 sensors are fine too. The body is in excellent condition as is the interior. It is a stunning looking car. The only fault is that the tailgate could benefit from a respray because the laquer is peeling which is very odd as the rest of the car is A1!
