timmy, wats the difference between the techtom and consult?

im thinking of buying 1 of these ,wats the difference ,pro's and cons of both?

thinking of getting the consult software but i'll be needing a lap top i guess, would i be better off just buying a techtom?

for day to day keeping an eye on my car!

thanks jay

Techtom MDM(Multi Display Monitor)-100

Plugs into the OBD(Consult) port and reports various ECU readings from the sensors on the car.

Stuff like injector bank pulses, O2 sensor voltages and rich/lean readings, speed in MPH/KMH, BCSV on or off, coolant temperature in degrees celcius/farenheit, AFM voltage, TPS voltage etc.

So for keeping an eye on things without having to keep getting the meter out it's good! wink.gif

ConZult software mimics the Nissan computer that the Mandellas use to diagnose faults on your car. It's way more powerful than a Techtom as it can carry out tests and report findings to the user.

I've got both and the Techtom is permanently on in the car unless I wanna use the ConZult then I just unplug the Tech and connect up the ConZult to the Craptop.

Being part of the rat race is great, but even if you win

you're still a rat!
