Was thinking about having a meet at Demon Tweeks in Wrexham one weekend before the weather turns shite. I was there a few months back and the Celica boys were having a gathering. We could have a mooch around Demon Twonks etc. then have a blast down the A55 into de Wales for some cracking scenery and twisty road driving. When I say twisty road I mean good quality e.g. negat pot holes etc. Why do you think so many bikers travel to de Wales? Roads! Anyone up for it? Edited: Would defo have to be a Saturday as Demon Twonks aren't open on a Sunday, unless you guys would rather just have a drive into Wales instead? ------------------ …

I measured the resistance on my detonation sensor and it measured 541k ohms. My question is, if it was faulty should it read 0 or is 541 still faulty? Cheers Vijay

My car is a 1990 Jap auto (not the very first model apparently) and has 225 50(I think) 16s all round. Is this correct?? I've had various opinions on this and am still unsure. I want to get this right as I currently have awful handling in the wet. Can I use UK rear wheels/tyres? Will this improve my traction at all?? Advice appreciated before it rains again... RobH

Hi All, My car got quite hot sat in traffic yesterday, when I parked and turned the ignition off it proceeded to drip clean water from an area in the centre of the car/front of passenger footwell area, one drip every 2 seconds or so. Is this normal? Is it aircon condensation ? Cheers, Drippy of Chester

Hey, I could use any help you can give on the purchasing of tires for the 300ZX. I'm in need of new tires and was looking into putting low profile tires/large rims on it. I'm just concerned a) tires will rub b) hard on tranny? c) bad handling. I was looking at getting 18X9 Enkei Type RPO-1 Rims with 235/40/18 Goodyear GS-D2's... Any suggestions or prior experience info would be great.

When engine is running, there is a strange sound like a little miniature man slowly turning a handle in the engine somewhere (toward the left) like one of those raffle boxes with a few pieces of wood inside. Hope this doesn't sound like I've cracked ! Does this sound normal or like something is on the way out ? Also...I can hear the turbo(s) rotating at low boost - sounds like a hollow scraping sound. Is this OK ?

Hugo Bossers etc. etc. Can I have a 'P' please Bob? What's me Bro gonna be called when he comes to post on here now? Leo ****er? FFS!!! Sort it out! ------------------

Yeah come on then, somebody start on about how it's a different matter when you need them! FFS! Mrs Turbo was stopped this afternoon by plod(not traffic) and told that the front number plate on the MAC2 Stillen Beast is illegal. Okey dokey, because it was just cut down to the size of the letters. Apparently you have to have 79mm letters surrounded by at least 11mm of plate. Speed cameras have trouble otherwise...that's a real shame! So she gets a producer and 14 days to rectify the plate and I/she will have to prove that the plate has been done. So a very mad Turbo woman goes to the cop shop tonight to produce. My Mrs says that the only reason why he s…

Removed busted radiator and taken to BJ Radiators (specialist radiator company). The bloke has had the rad all pm and recons that there was something wrong with the aluminium core (bad batch). He repaired the original crack but states the material in vicinity is pourous. The rad is only 18mths old and was brand new from Main Dealership. Has anyone heard of this before? Do I approach Nissan? I will find more about the rad tomorrow when I get the re-cored one back? Rgardz
