Razo Auto Shifter! Wiring it up!

Right the car has two wires connected to the stock auto shifter for the O/D switch. One wire is black and one white.

On the Razo the two wires are the same sodding colour being black with silver stripes...WTF is that all about?

So I took a guess and wired it up and threw it all back together and yep, you guessed it, the O/D isn't working!

Is this a simple case of taking the whole trim apart AGAIN and reversing the wires round? I would've thought so?

TIA

What's the crack with them then? I only closed them tight with my fingers. Do you need to use a set of pliers to make sure they close really tight? Scotch Locks I mean. biggrin.gif

First thing you do with them is open the packet and then throw the contents into the nearest bin. Then you go get your soldering iron and do the job properly ! biggrin.gif

I think you might be right mate! I bought a nice gas soldering iron from Maplin the other week to solder my alarm LED wires together properly.

Only problem is that the two wires coming from the car are very short indeedy. Razo wiring is excessive! LOL biggrin.gif

I will bin the Crotch Locks then and attempt to do the job like a Professional instead. Should be a laugh, my soldering is in its elementary stages! biggrin.gif
