Early evening yesterday, London bound, a red Z on the hard shoulder just after the Marlborough junction. Did not see anybody with the car (G reg), which was unusual.

Just had a set of four Toyo Proxes fitted (265 35 18 back and 235 40 18 front). Got them for £528 including delivery and VAT, plus £30 for a local garage to fit them. I can honestly say these are the best tyres I have ever bought for my Z. I've had Pirelli P-zeros which were bloody awful. I've had Bridgestone SO2s (I think!) which were OK. I finally settled on using Yokohama AVS sports which I found great and used for about four sets. But after reading someone's opinions on the Toyos on here, and bearing in mind they were cheaper, I decided to give them a go. Glad I did. Brilliant tyre. Loads and loads of grip. Very progressive in the dry and the wet. Little bit…

...that when your out and about that 'other' sports car owners will never look at you or your car? . The only people that look are bystanders or the ones driving mondeos etc. etc.? Just wandered how many of you lot have noticed the same thing or is it a'regional' thing (doubt it?). Tony

how much should i expect to pay to get a gearbox reconned? mines on 100k now and its something I would like to get done in the future for a little treat (its a manual by the way) I am thinking about collecting a list of common prices for jobs on zeds as a guidline for not getting ripped off Mike

FFS.........I have thrown piles of cash at the now not so "beloved" zed.... and today the radiator decides to rap its tits in!!!! Exhaust blowing...... Roof leaking...ironic..cant keep water out of interior cant keep water in radiator.... It just seems never ending............. Regardz

FFS......radiator leaking.....drivers side but appears to be from the side of rad and not the vanes...hhhhhooo hum.. Anyone got contacts for a replacement.. recon or new??? What price will I expect to pay many thanks... Regardz

Hi All, I have to replace my damaged rear steering rack. It's actually only one of the connecting arms and bolt that's bent - would it be easier to replace just the arm or is it likely I've damaged the the power cylinder etc too?? (not leaking). Anybody got a how to relating to this?? TIA! RobH

Just return back from manchester....looked under car...dumping coolant..drivers side radiotor but appears to come from radiotor end caps???? Where can I get cheap rad from?? off on hols next week need my money for ale etc etc... This car is seriously pissing me off at the moment Regardz

Help needed if at all poss. I am stumped but it could be something simple. It is a 1990 auto turbo (yes the car is in park mode) but have tried all other modes just in case. Worked fine for a long drive, came back home went out five mins later and nothing. Batery and everything seem fine, alarm is working correctly but when I turn the key to start nothing happens. I have replaced the relay but the startmotor etc just wont click in. What else could it be? thanks in advance

i have checked my speedo, and as people have said on here, it's absolute pants. When the speedo is reading 120mph my GPS says i am doing 112mph. Can the get the speedo calibrated? cheerz steve

Chaps I need some help.... Anybody know of any garages in the Midlands area that are not main dealers that can sort my Autobox out? I can't be off the road any longer than I already have been.
