How 'bout we setup a section where we list parts and services and what they cost and contact nos.of companies/suppliers alongside your name. This would mean that anyone could directly compare prices for the best deals. Members could also leave a short comment like - excellent service etc. We could also use the section to rate different mods/services/parts. I think this would be far quicker than usual process of starting a thread and hoping for replies and advice. Different opinions would not cause arguments necessarily, because you leave your name. People make their own mind up. For negative service/product, just leave comment blank to avoid legal action.

Car passed first time. God I love her. 1 bit of rust developing near the front passenger jacking point and my exhaust it blowing slighty in the middle. Caused by low speedbumps Other than that, all is good. Stuart

I found this on the 200 forum and thought that you would enjoy reading it....! After every flight, pilots complete a gripe sheet which conveys to the mechanics problems encountered with the aircraft during the flight that need repair or correction. The form is a piece of paper that the pilot completes and then the mechanics read and correct the problem. They then respond in writing on the lower half of the form what remedial action was taken and the pilot reviews the gripe sheets before the next flight. Never let it be said that ground crews and engineers lack a sense of humour. Here are some actual logged maintenance complaints and problems, known as …

Only had my Z for a few days and even though it's a bit poorly at the moment, I am deffo getting into these cars....reading up all i can on them. But i have noticed that i rarely see articles detailing the 300s *genuine* performance stats i.e. Santa Pod RWYB meets, Trax, etc etc......read about plenty of Evos, Skylines, Scoobs, Cossies, GTiRs and so on...but not much on the Z's ??? Does anyone have any links or REAL info on what a Z can do. Please no "my m8 Dave has done 185mph on the M1", i want properly timed/recorded figures i.e. no Max Power/Fast Car type quotes.... ....Top Speeds, 1/4 miles, 0-60s or 0-100mphs etc.....anything appreciated ! Cheers

I noticed that we get pages on threads now instead of having a huge list. But I have noticed that when you log on and all the updated threads are in red, you read one click back and they are all yellow again so you dont know whats new. Stuart

Been doing some research and if you have an import and are unsure of the exact date of manufacture then there are some big clues available - if you're prepared to look. This is reasonably important to me because my car was initially given a J plate rather than a K when it was imported, so this is all part of the evidence I will submit to the DVLA. 1. Seat belts have a date (year) printed on one of the little silver labels 2. On the rear light interior cover mouldings giving the month in which that batch was produced 3. On a label on the underside of the boot sound deadening giving what appears to be the date of inspection 4. On the top left hand s…

I have original body skirts/bumpers etc. and sometimes find it very difficult to avoid hitting the ground when leaving some petrol stations/mulit-storeys/turning at bottom of steep hills etc. How do you guys with even lower (and expensive and nice) aftermarket skirts stop this from happening ?

You may know this, but worth a mention... The rim on the edges of rear wheel arches can hold a lot of mud/dirt which dries hard. This can of course hold water next to body and cause rust. So regularly check wheel arches and scrape out dirt with hands.

i need any old parts that i can convert/copy to carbon fibre fan shroud covers throttle covers centre console covers etc etc!! ive just priced our bonnets and so far its not gonna be worth it in pure carbon fibre on a 1 off it would be 5-600 quid and it would be hard to spray paint! my mate said the fibre grain would show through eventualy,so im looking at other ways the company im using is a top performance company who make carbon parts for lowering the weight of stock parts. any parts would be appreciated ,im happy to pay the postage or will discount you on parts you want! thanks jay
