When engine is running, there is a strange sound like a little miniature man slowly turning a handle in the engine somewhere (toward the left) like one of those raffle boxes with a few pieces of wood inside. Hope this doesn't sound like I've cracked ! Does this sound normal or like something is on the way out ? Also...I can hear the turbo(s) rotating at low boost - sounds like a hollow scraping sound. Is this OK ?

Yeah come on then, somebody start on about how it's a different matter when you need them! FFS! Mrs Turbo was stopped this afternoon by plod(not traffic) and told that the front number plate on the MAC2 Stillen Beast is illegal. Okey dokey, because it was just cut down to the size of the letters. Apparently you have to have 79mm letters surrounded by at least 11mm of plate. Speed cameras have trouble otherwise...that's a real shame! So she gets a producer and 14 days to rectify the plate and I/she will have to prove that the plate has been done. So a very mad Turbo woman goes to the cop shop tonight to produce. My Mrs says that the only reason why he s…

Removed busted radiator and taken to BJ Radiators (specialist radiator company). The bloke has had the rad all pm and recons that there was something wrong with the aluminium core (bad batch). He repaired the original crack but states the material in vicinity is pourous. The rad is only 18mths old and was brand new from Main Dealership. Has anyone heard of this before? Do I approach Nissan? I will find more about the rad tomorrow when I get the re-cored one back? Rgardz

A GIRLS PRAYER Lord, Before I lay me down to sleep, I pray for a man, who's not a creep, One who's handsome, smart and strong, One who's willy's thick and long. One who thinks before he speaks, When he promises to call, he won't wait weeks. I pray that he is gainfully employed, And when I spend his cash, won't be annoyed. Pulls out my chair and opens my door, Massages my back and begs to do more. Oh! Send me a man who will make love to my mind, Knows just what to say, when I ask "How big's my behind?" One who'll make love till my body's a twitchin, In the hall, the loo, the garden and kitchen! I pray that this man will love me no end, …

OK, forgive my stupidity, but what pressures should I be running my tyres at? They are (i think) 235/40/18 front and 265/35/18 rear (or similar)? The standard pressures are on the plate in the door jamb, but 1. they're in Jap and 2. not sure if aftermarket need to be at different pressures. Thanks for any help.

How 'bout we setup a section where we list parts and services and what they cost and contact nos.of companies/suppliers alongside your name. This would mean that anyone could directly compare prices for the best deals. Members could also leave a short comment like - excellent service etc. We could also use the section to rate different mods/services/parts. I think this would be far quicker than usual process of starting a thread and hoping for replies and advice. Different opinions would not cause arguments necessarily, because you leave your name. People make their own mind up. For negative service/product, just leave comment blank to avoid legal action.

I found this on the 200 forum and thought that you would enjoy reading it....! After every flight, pilots complete a gripe sheet which conveys to the mechanics problems encountered with the aircraft during the flight that need repair or correction. The form is a piece of paper that the pilot completes and then the mechanics read and correct the problem. They then respond in writing on the lower half of the form what remedial action was taken and the pilot reviews the gripe sheets before the next flight. Never let it be said that ground crews and engineers lack a sense of humour. Here are some actual logged maintenance complaints and problems, known as …
