Tires/Wheels

Hey, I could use any help you can give on the purchasing of tires for the 300ZX. I'm in need of new tires and was looking into putting low profile tires/large rims on it.

I'm just concerned a) tires will rub b) hard on tranny? c) bad handling. I was looking at getting 18X9 Enkei Type RPO-1 Rims with 235/40/18 Goodyear GS-D2's... Any suggestions or prior experience info would be great.
