I didn't just road kill this guy........... .........I think I even made his car cry!! ..........another road kill sticker on the side of the Z............ :D The guy came 'hoooooning' up behind me and was all set to pass me and I floored it and waved bye-bye to him as I hit a 110mph on a small private road.........small dot in the RVM and he sat nicely behind me for about 5-6 minutes until I turned off....... :cool: Matty.

Hi, my Z, 1993 series 3, imported from Japan, has a clear film on the inside of the rear window, is this normal?

My car's having a respray soon, so I'm going to get my spoiler changed at the same time. At the moment I've got a spoiler the same as the ZC019, as seen on the Z Centre's page....when I get the new one on, does the old one have a second hand value?? If so, what's it worth, roughly?? Cheers

Guys Picked up my manual gearbox on Saturday. Thanks Topless for the recommendation. The place I got it from is an Alladins Cave of stuff. There were three TT's in various stages of break up. If there's something you need I can't imagine they haven't got it or can get hold of it. All I need now is the ancilliaries...........anyone got any ?? :D Mark

hi guys. i have a automatic TT and i have noticed something odd... when i drive around on short frequent trips or after a long drive on a HOT day i always leave the turbo time running so as to allow the turbos to cool etc. i have noticed on many occasions that after when i return to the car usually after an hour or so the car will not start. there is power but no ignition, almost like the imobiliser has kicked in if i leave it for say another hour it will start up no problems. i have also noticed that if the car doesn`t start if i put it in neutral (N) instead fo having it in PARK(P) it will start. Anybody no what is going on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!should i be worried.

I test drove a 300TT on saturday, after a 30 min drive with the air con on full I got out and coulld see water dripping below the enginne. The water was cold to touch and tasted of only water. Is this condensation from the air con unit??????

After a with an air gunned security nut (involving me losing my rag with it) I snapped a wheel stud. I have done this before ( I know , once is a mistake, twice is stupid) and the stud was pressed through the back of the hub, does anyone know if its the same on the zed. It was pissing down and the car was up[ on the jack, so I didnt take the time to look too closely? Any help appreciated Cheers Jock

Anyone in need of a right wing mirror, in working order with all the wiring etc... The reason I have it is, because I've just bought my second Z and the guy I bought it from, had ordered one wing mirror from a breaker and they sent him two. It's black, though can obviously be painted. I'm saving for an in-car DVD, so every little bit of extra cash helps!!!! Will accept the highest offer... Cheers.

Got a bit of a problem which i'm worried about. Got a jap 91 N/A Auto which i repaired the heater matrix on and have been driving. For some stupid reason i let my mate drive me home from a club as i was drunk and it was wet. going round a bend it slid out and one side knocked into a kerb. Front and back wheel on the passenger side knocked into the kerb. After that the tracking was obviously out so it didn't drive straight but this was the only problem at the time. Driving back a week later along the m25 and every time i went over a slight bump it felt like the back wheel swung me left or right slightly as if i had the 4 wheel steering but i dont. Can you over tighten/tension the aux belts?? Ive tesioned them all so you can give em half a twist, but im sure theyre making more noise than before, not a worrying noise just sounds very windy under there, or will the quieten down in a bit or am i being paranoid again?

Does anyone know what mods I'd need to do to a US engine wiring loom to make it fit my Jap 300zxTT? Obviously i'd like to get one from courtesy because of the price. Has anyone replaced the loom with the engine in the car? Cheers in advance. Ben.

Just got the Z back from SE yesterday and it's running great. New ICE fitted and working well - life couldn't be much better! Then... Backing out of the garage today and I've caught a dustbin (left out by my neighbour!) between the rear wing and the wall of the house! No major damage to the paint, but I now have a visible indent in the rear wing above the rear wheel arch! :mad: :mad: :mad: Anyone know how I can get "inside" the rear wing to pop it out again. I assume that I need to go through the boot to get to it... Any help appreciated! Cheerz Steve

Not a major prob but annoying. When pressing the clutch pedal it squeaks any thoughts. Its a hydraulic system so where is the squeak coming from.

Well well, what a surprise, my current run of bad luck is continuing with the nissan.... Those of you that know me, know that I havent had any luck with it since day 1 and its cost me 000's so far. Well, Option have fitted the new turbos but they now smoke like a bast*rd, both of them!!!!! They are having the car on tuesday to inspect whts gone wrong!!!!!!! Now, the turbos must have been faulty as the car has been running at 0.6psi as I wanted to run the car in, so I havent over stressed them, I've only done 600miles!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can anyone tell me what bulbs fit a UK headlamp?? I think the projector beam is H3 but what's the full beam? The reason I ask is 'cos I bought some off Ebay and they no where near:confused: The supplier said they'ed fit but they don't they are 9005 and 9006 whatever that is......:rolleyes: So I need to let him konw what type they are.... cheers..... ps anyone have a spare wallet with user manual forsale?:rolleyes:

when the boost needle gets to 0 ... a bit above i can hear like a ticking noise... it is boost related as rpm does not influence this it seems to be comming from the drivers side ... u can hear it quite well. is the gauge air fed like the gt turbos ? possible a hole in this pipe.. or a faulty gauge baked bean can for finding leak ???? how ? cheers scottieeeee.....
