June 3, 200322 yr When I first start the car in the morning it takes literally 5 mins of holding the key in the start position and cranking the engine until it starts. When I start the car later on, say three or four hours later it starts straight away no problems. I have been told by one garage that it is a compression problem, and by another that it could be the cold start sensor playing up. Any ideas? If it is compression then this is a head off job and big bill! I just hope it isn't. Thanks, Colin
