Hi ! Do you know what this is??? There's a noise coming from the o/s of the engine bay, around where the boost pressure sensor and brake booster is. It's a kind of air leaking or motor warnout noise... There appears to be no pipes loose, the first thing that sprung to mind was the re-circulation control etc, but as I get the honk I don't think it's that. It only appears to do it on idle or neg boost, I think It's always been there, but now you can hear it in the car with the door closed. Hi everyone pls help me with this small problem! I bought a Kenwood Z919 and tried installing it in my 94' 300ZX TT but I noticed the bose speakers have an amp each so does anyone know how I can install my headunit? it has an 4x45w amp on it. Thank You in advance.

Are the front discs and pads the same for a N/A and TT.....I've just ordered a pair of Brembo discs off ebay that said fits both, but i want to be sure.

I have an Norm Aspirated 300zx. I want to get a duel dial pod frm the zed center. What dials can i put in it to make it look cool. I have all indiglo dash at the moment and i wouldnt mind the dials to match if poss. I was thinking maybe a voltmeter or something but im not sure - help would be appreciated. Also, does anything ever go on in the south west?? I would mind seeing a few other zed owners and getting into the scene a bit more! Cheers

Hi guys/girls, Ive just brought a non turbo 300zx manual on a j plate - its a jap import!! Basically i need to know where the washer jets on the bonnet connect to!! The pipe connects the two jets but then it just ends - does it connect to the washer bottle? is so where abouts as i cant see alot in the engine bay!! Also i was out for a spin the other day, when i stopped the car was dripping cold antifreeze from about 6inches infront of the passenger compartment! About level with the NSF wheel. I check the coolant level in the rad and it was absolutely full to the max. I filled the water bottle on the front right of the engine bay, and after a few secs it all pee…

Tomorrow, (6/5/03) I get to finally take delivery of my Fairlady import 300ZX n/a! It's gonna be a shock...... I've been driving a Range Rover for the last three years! So - help please! Do I have to feed her the higher octane (97?) unleaded that you sometimes see? Where can I get a handbook? What are the service intervals? Do the targa panels just sit in the boot when removed? What's the best oil to use? tyre pressures? Is there a good book on the car I can buy? I'm a sponge - soak me with info!!!!! :)

I've noticed that a slow speeds or whilst slowy moving within traffic, the brakes make a noise similar to a large spring expanding or retracting and now its starting to bug me. The brakes seem to work normally and at first I thought it was the pedal but on closer inspection it sounds as if its the caliper. Has anyone had similar experience. I'm hoping its just ageeee. :confused:

Going down the East Lancs (National Speedlimit dual carrage way for the people who doing know. ;)) I see this red Z with a West Wing kit on and round rear light conversion. I pull up behind him and he boots it and so did I. Revs climbing to 7000rpm and I slam it into 3rd with a little screetch of my tyres which where only 20 miles old and needed scrubbing in. Speed climbing to, errrrrrrr I wont tell you that ;) No matter what he tried the Red Z was not getting away from me. We tried it the other way round, I booted and he followed and again, no-one pulled away. Not much of a kill more of an achivement. He had lightened pullies, Mongoose Exhaust, Bli…

Does anyone know where I can get the rubber strips that fit along the bottom of the rear side windows? I checked with ZCentre, and Luke told me that you I can only get these if I buy a new window, which are £250 or so each?? The rest of the rubber seals are available, so surely these ones must be available from somewhere??:confused:

Just got hold off a set of 17 inch AZEV AS, will I require spacers for these or will they be a direct fit ?? This also means that my original 17 inch alloys will be up for sale in the next week or two if anyone is interested

Anyone who fitted this - did you see any improvement in handling? I wonder if its worth its extra weight but the fact the new 350 has em front and back either suggests it is or that is a must have fashion accessory!

Not sure I've seen one of these before - not very sporty looking but it had a fair bit of grunt! He started in front of me as we came off the M25 onto the A22 towards Croydon. Stopped at the lights on the roandabout then off we went - road goes into two lanes and turns into dual carriageway! I indicate to overtake him and as I do he indicates and cuts me up! Then it's foot to the floor in second and third and I'm right behind him, change up to fourth and he finally relents and pulls in to let me pass (approx 110). some advice please. when i start her up in the morning the idle sits at 2000 for around 30 seconds and the oil pressure is at about the half way mark and doesn't drop for about a minute of driving. is this usuall? also, ive never driven a car like this before, so is it normal for the rear end to sort of 'skip' sideways when i drive over pot holes and dents in the road surface, or do i need the tracking seen to or something?

Has anyone had a new exhaust fitted at PowerFlow. They seem to be offering a great deal. I'm booked in next week and just wanted to get some feedback. Also, price of a new dash console (speedo etc) from Nissan is £350 for UK and £280 for Japaneese Spec. Does anyone know of a cheaper outlet as I've scored the scrapyards already. Would fitting a UK spec to the Jap model still require delimiter or ECU mod. Thanks

Hi, my rear bearings need changing, does anyone know of any suppliers for zeds apart from dealers. UK 300Z TT Cheerz

Where would I source such an item? Are there many variations or is there an ideal one to fit the Z? How much should I expect to pay? I'm getting my car re-sprayed soon and thought this would be a nice touch... Regards, Peter
