Just wondering if anybody has a fan belt they are willing to sell me as I need to be able to get the car back to east sussex today. Signal isn't great so if possible send a text to 07874077200. Any help with this will be greatly appreciated. Thankyou Mark

Is this someone on the forum here? Has a pictures of Jason's beast and says he can give names/numbers of forum members cars he's worked on. Shame no one like that for the North West area.

Still playing around with Data scan lol. After the car is warmed up my AAC valve is operating at around 20-22, the car idles at 730ish, the TPS reports 0.42. From reading other threads once warm the AAC should read 15? It's ok most of the time but from cold it can idle sometimes at 1600 ish which I think is high, but then comes down as it warms. Occasionally it also does a bit of hunting, or if you come to a junction and stop the revs stick at around 11-1200 for 5-10 seconds before coming back down again. I've came across loads of threads regarding adjusting idle but they all give conflicting information. From the experienced people what is t…

Hello, Okay so random thing happened today... Driving down my road from a cold start, go to turn into a road and the engine cuts out. Now I may have had my foot down on the clutch but can't be sure. All I know for sure is that half way around the corner my battery light comes on. So I go to start the engine again and it turns over but doesn't Fire!! Try a few times to start it and it doesn't Fire at all - as if there was no fuel or no spark. This car has ALWAYS started on the button every time so this is odd. I sit there for a minute or so with the hazards on and then it starts up again. Turn after driving it all seems fine again but the revs seem …

Just been playing around with Datascan now that I have a working cable. I have noticed that when cold the O2 sensor reads 15, this slowly drops to about 5 once the car is warm, Sitting at idle it never jumps up and down like I see other people say it should. Does this mean one or both are broken?

After being stung by marksz at the beginning of the year I made it a personal goal of mine to help out other members with parts I was not going to be using when I rebuilt my car in June. I did kind of hope that when I contacted other members for parts that some of that spirt would have rubbed of and I'm glad to say that it did with most people that I contacted(happy days). Untill the 11th of October when I paid for some rear shocks. Since then I have been told a load of old crap about them coming a tracking number that has never tracked anything and now no response!!. So just be aware that being a member on here does not mean they are trust worthy!!

So this happened on my way home a few days ago and is an advert for good brand tyres especially in winter. I seen some blue lights someway behind me on the Edinburgh city bypass during rush hour (thankfully, meant the traffic was moving slowly when this happened). Glanced in my mirror to see where the lights were now and when I looked ahead again, the lexus in front had slammed on his brakes. When I noticed I braked too but thanks to the cheap rubbish front tyres, the ABS activated instantly under slight braking effectively giving me no brakes and I could do nothing but watch my front end hit his towbar. On the plus side there was absolutely no damage to his car so he's n…

I've come to the conclusion that 25mm spacers on the front are a little... extreme... so I'm looking to get a pair of either 15mm or 20mm bolt-on hubcentrics to replace them. The problem is that my Team Dynamics alloys don't have any notches machined into the rear face of the mounting where the protruding wheel studs would sit. I don't really want to have to cut my studs down so the wheel sits flush on the spacer so I wanted to get peoples' thoughts on the idea of having an engineering firm machining the relevant holes into the rear of the mounting face on the front wheels! I can't stress enough that this wouldn't be me sat at home with a drill - these would be…

Hey guys. What i need to know: Can I fit a Brake Master Cylinder (BMC) off a Skyline/S body to my car? Why: I need a none ABS BMC for my car, none ABS Z32s are rare and so are BMCs for them it seems The Reason for needing to know: Since removing my ABS and plumbing in my hydro I have really bad brake bias. I tried left foot braking last week while twinning and........... it didn't end well. I could fit an in-line bias valve. But this may be cheaper?

Right, thought I'd start this. As some of you may know my cars a bit broken at present and I have a pile of parts ready to fit that gets bigger without it making its way to the car. So lets start with what's up with the engine. Myself and gaz pulled the engine about two winters ago now, as one of the turbo's had failed. Compression was tested at this time with a very even 170psi across the board. Pulling it all apart we found a multitude of issues, egr hanging off causing an exhaust leak old sockets rolling about etc etc. We took that time to replace every damn crusty water and vac pipe and delete just about anything I considered a waste of space. Water plenum byp…

Hi guys, My long-awaited import has arrived at last but I'm having speedo issues. The car is a 1996 JDM TT and so doesn't have the boost gauge. That looks lopsided to me and I don't like aftermarket gauges so I bought a set of JDM instruments from a 1991 TT to swap in. Unfortunately the connectors are all different! Is it just a case of connect red to red, blue to blue etc or is there something more arcane I need to do? Or was there an intermediate section of loom in the early cars that I'm missing? Alternatively would it be better to fit the boost gauge into the old speedo housing (and if so how would I go about that?) As always, really grateful for any he…

I have this skyline diff. Im not sure which model/year etc it came from. Can anyone offer any factual info.???? Here are the facts that I do know. Its a 4.11 ratio. 37/9 teeth. Its fitted with a LSD of some type. Its in lovely clean undamaged condition. I "thought " it came from a R33 GTST that my pal bought to get an engine from... but it doesnt look like one I have seen on ebay?? Doing a google search it looks like a GTR diff but the prop flange on mine is different. Ultimately I want to sell it but it would be good to know what it is first so I dont miss sell it. Any info appreciated....................... Check out the pics
