Just want to let everyone know how good the service from JapSpeed is. To cut a long story short I was changing the coolant on my Zed yesterday and also upgraded the standard pipes to silicone ones. When I went to fit the new top rad pipe the plastic receiver on the OEM rad fell apart in my hands! I ordered a replacement Rad from Japspeed yesterday at 3pm and it was here before 8 this morning, brilliant. It's great to get good service and I thought it was worth a mention.:thumbup1:

Nice article of the Steve Millan's IMSA 300ZX 1994 racing season recently published in Autoweek. http://autoweek.com/article/car-life/steve-millens-imsa-300zx-and-his-dream-season-1994 The Watkins Glen crash described in the article involving Millan's 300ZX, his teammate O'Connell's 300ZX and another car is recorded here. You can draw your own conclusions as to their luck and the race organisation. [video=youtube_share;qf_8NjIIp4Q]

Positive crankcase pressure valves? Possible. Not quite sure what they do.but have an idea.may be wrong. .or why they are there. first, do we need.? and if so cant we just get rid of these pipes that block up? Pcv valves. And replace with a neat smart little catch tank thing.thatll be easyer to take off and clean and replace and wash out every few or six months?

Hey everyone, we recently held a Z cruise in Victoria to honor a very well known aus300zx forum member who passed away earlier this year. The cruise was held on the same day as the members birthday so it was fitting the Victoria members band together on what would have been his 65th birthday to celebrate and enjoy our Z cars the way he would have done himself and wanted us all to do ourselves as well. Ok so here is how the day all unfolded; The cruise was to start at the Watsonia Train Station Car park at 9am Sunday morning. Being one of the first to make it to the meeting point it didn't take very long to have a sea of Z's flowing into the car park and filling …

Phoned my current Insurer who'd done me a good deal last year to update them that I'd put Meister 'R' shocks all round and they quoted sill money £6000 for 22,500 miles per year including 2500 Business mileage Phoned Tim Prestage and he did exactly the same for £360 ! Call that a win !

Hi guys. I'm on my way down from Doncaster to Sittingbourne in Kent. My car is in Sittingbourne and the fan belt has snapped. Just wondering if anybody has a fan belt they are willing to sell me as I need to be able to get the car back to east sussex today. Signal isn't great so if possible send a text to 07874077200. Any help with this will be greatly appreciated. Thankyou Mark

Is this someone on the forum here? Has a pictures of Jason's beast and says he can give names/numbers of forum members cars he's worked on. Shame no one like that for the North West area.

Still playing around with Data scan lol. After the car is warmed up my AAC valve is operating at around 20-22, the car idles at 730ish, the TPS reports 0.42. From reading other threads once warm the AAC should read 15? It's ok most of the time but from cold it can idle sometimes at 1600 ish which I think is high, but then comes down as it warms. Occasionally it also does a bit of hunting, or if you come to a junction and stop the revs stick at around 11-1200 for 5-10 seconds before coming back down again. I've came across loads of threads regarding adjusting idle but they all give conflicting information. From the experienced people what is t…

Hello, Okay so random thing happened today... Driving down my road from a cold start, go to turn into a road and the engine cuts out. Now I may have had my foot down on the clutch but can't be sure. All I know for sure is that half way around the corner my battery light comes on. So I go to start the engine again and it turns over but doesn't Fire!! Try a few times to start it and it doesn't Fire at all - as if there was no fuel or no spark. This car has ALWAYS started on the button every time so this is odd. I sit there for a minute or so with the hazards on and then it starts up again. Turn after driving it all seems fine again but the revs seem …

Just been playing around with Datascan now that I have a working cable. I have noticed that when cold the O2 sensor reads 15, this slowly drops to about 5 once the car is warm, Sitting at idle it never jumps up and down like I see other people say it should. Does this mean one or both are broken?

After being stung by marksz at the beginning of the year I made it a personal goal of mine to help out other members with parts I was not going to be using when I rebuilt my car in June. I did kind of hope that when I contacted other members for parts that some of that spirt would have rubbed of and I'm glad to say that it did with most people that I contacted(happy days). Untill the 11th of October when I paid for some rear shocks. Since then I have been told a load of old crap about them coming a tracking number that has never tracked anything and now no response!!. So just be aware that being a member on here does not mean they are trust worthy!!

So this happened on my way home a few days ago and is an advert for good brand tyres especially in winter. I seen some blue lights someway behind me on the Edinburgh city bypass during rush hour (thankfully, meant the traffic was moving slowly when this happened). Glanced in my mirror to see where the lights were now and when I looked ahead again, the lexus in front had slammed on his brakes. When I noticed I braked too but thanks to the cheap rubbish front tyres, the ABS activated instantly under slight braking effectively giving me no brakes and I could do nothing but watch my front end hit his towbar. On the plus side there was absolutely no damage to his car so he's n…
