I've been trailing through the whole forum for a while now and just reading up on it. I have a few questions anyhow for people to verify for me. 1) Jap spec front seat belts are different from UK spec front seat belts. Correct? 2) Also, you could poss fit UK 3 point rear seat belts in a Jap import? 3) Could poss fit a S2 selt belt on a S1 car? In any case if you can't fit a UK spec front seat belt on a Jap import, who has a driver side one so I can take it off your hands. Dont mind swapping them for the UK belts I got... and I've got 4 of them! >_

Does anyone want to give me the bad news about what gone Pete Tong this time, based on the video clip below? I've got a pretty good idea already... Hi guys, I'm trying to pin down my stall-after-dump problem and after going through all the menus on my Super-AFC2 I found one which I think says 'decel adjust' (haven't got car at mo so can't tell for sure). When I go into this screen Ive got three options: first one is four *'s but can be adjusted upwards in percentages, and the other two are both set at 10% (I-something 1 and I-something 2). I think that once these are set correctly I may be able to solve my problem. Could anyone tell me what theirs are set to? Cheers for any help, Dave.

ok Ive decided to treat myself to an air filter for my car, but Ive come across a few things. when I was taking all the panels off to fit the filter,low and behold theres already a BLITZ SUS core power LM induction filter. fitted. I was not to know about this because IT DOESNT MAKE ANY NOISE!!! but anyway Ive cleaned it and Youve never seen the bath fill of dirt so quick,, thats right kids I had a bath with my air filter :D why doesnt it make any noise anyone? please and might cleaning it help. also there was a stainless steel panel underneath the airfilter which I took off, but written on the panel was a Logo for TAN adjustable suspension. …

After a couple of replacements with PIAA bulbs at £26 a time. I decided to use the H3 conversion using the fuse plug holder method rather than the soldering way, which works brilliantly. Now the next thing was to get brighter H3's, used the 30% brighter jobs, not too good, then I found some on Ebay. They are super white H3 5000k 55w draw but 100w output, same technology as PIAA, but for wait for it at 0.99p/ pair + £6 shipping. Arrived a couple of weeks ago ( took 10 days ) but they very good. Put one in and compared it to the PIAA on other side and I would said they are brighter. Has not blown yet! worth a try if you want a cheap upgrade, just…

when doing the conversion which is the best option, cutting the auto harness off the autobox and joining or just bridging the inhibitor wire under the bonnet and extending the other wires does also does it need to use the neutral switch on the manual box? Richard

ive had this for a while, started a fair while and miles after an oil change (129k km), but had been happening before the change anyway, was recommended using some fuel injector stuff as it sounded like this and not the hydrualic lifters, so bought some of that STP engine treatment stuff for 13 quid from halfords, now the noise seems to have got worse! anyone got any ideas? it stopped for a while after the last oil change, could something be being starved of oil hence the noise? why would it get worse after this stuff though? HELP! doing an oil change this weekend so maybe this will sort it

I'm trying to diagnose something. Does anyone know what the effects of too much oil would be? A garage I took my car too has overfilled it by at least one inch above the max mark, possibly two.

Hi all, Does anyone know of a good wheel refurb company? I've got a split rim that is leaking after a failed refurb by 'DMD wheel refurb' in Bristol. Protyre don't seem to work on split rims and the only other place I've found so far (http://www.performancewheelsupplies.ltd.uk/) seem good, but are quite expensive (1k for all four) :hurl: The wheels are 17" Stern's - similar to Gregs - http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/vbgarage.php?do=getimage&id=99 (Greg - if you're thinking of selling yours...)

hi when starting the zed in the morning the revs dont rise as they should it just ticks over at 900 rpm which in turn makes it cut out ,after warming up all is fine . also when warmed up if i unplug the two connections at the idle valve they seem to make no difference at all ,the problem started when i swapped my mines ecu for a standard one any ideas

Hi guys, have a problem with my central locking and wondered if anyone could help please? When i activate/deactivate the alarm, the drivers door locks/unlocks ok, but the passenger door does nothing. If i operate the drivers door lock with the key, still the passenger door does nothing. The interior light is still working ok, so am i right in saying that the fuse for the central locking should be ok? They are on the same fuse yes? Does it sound like the locking motor in the passenger door has packed up? :headvswal

Hi I fiited some bling fuel lines and a fuel cut off tap to my car the other day and have just had a thought... What what happen if someone tried to start the car with the tap closed? It is positioned in the engine bay before the injectors etc. The fuel pump will try and force fuel through it wont it? I guess a fuel line could burst off? :eek: Am I right, or cause worse damage be caused? Obviously stopping the car being nicked in the event the alarm and immob are disabled, is the reason I've fitted it so it would be better than that hehe. Cheers Pete
