Not Mine - Mines not even running at moment :) But my wifes 200sx is smoking (I will post on the 200sx board when its back up) Just a quickie really - after driving it (fairly quick) I pull up at a junction then whilst on idle (about 10 secs after stopping) I get plumes of blue white smoke. Does this sound like turbo has gone or turbo seal? Any other ideas? I dont notice any smoke whilst moving it always seems to engulf the car when I stop. Cheers

hi folks, could do with a some advice please. was driving my 94 celica 2.0 auto on m25 yesterday. had done about 20miles when suddenly started to get a rumbling through steering at about 75mph. thought i had a puncture so pulled over to check but all seemed ok. when i pulled off again car was fine up to about 50mph but under any load i.e acceleration, above that could feel a juddering. the more power i put on the worse it got. felt like the whole bloody car was shaking apart :( when i eased off it stopped. only seems to be at speeds above 50mph??? the engine seems fine throughout, not missing or anything. thought maybe driveshaft ?? any ideas would be greatly a…

Just had a call from the garage investigating the cause of my serious clutch judder ... Grasshopper Pro Sport who I paid best part of 1000 quid to fit a ACT clutch and Fedanza fly setup that would give me better clutch performance but with almost stock feel, actually fitted a 6 paddle ACT clutch and refitted the knackered stock fly wheel!!!  When I picked the car up it felt wrong and so I turned round and went back to them, and they said "needs run in for a few miles". The original stock Nissan flywheel is knackered which is part of the problem, plus one of the bolts has sheared and so the "casing" (not seen it yet so not sure which bit) is coming…

Hi please help,my engine 'seems' to keep flooding. it idles very rough then eventually stalls. so i bought some new plugs took it for a drive and it ran fantastic, started it up next day... ...it was crap again. so then i had various split hoses changed, tuned up, and even another set of spark plugs, driving it home from garage it drove fantastic, gets in it next day... ...crap again. ive had various codes on ECU and by cleaning connections seem to have sorted them, the only one that still keeps cropping up is '12'(air flow meter) plus the car wont run above 2500revs "so it is the AFM" i hear you all cry... thing is when the AFM is NOT working car seems to idle fine (…

Hi all, just about to pick up the beast and was curious if I can fit twin BOV's to a TT auto.? If so, is Apexi the one to go for? best price i've seen is £330. are there any others out there? anyone got links/info? This will obviously paired with an apexi filter £130, but was just wondering if it's actually worth fitting them to an auto, and will i get the unmistakeable "pu-chuust" of a nice dump valve???????? Any takers??? BacE

hi I own a UK spec 300ZXTT UK spec 1993. Unfortunately, i went through some flood water in the dark and sucked up into engine. SQUASH! One broken engine. Fortunately my car insurance covered the replacing of the engine & turbos. But, only with Nissan parts at Bob Juliers Nissan Dealership. Car has only done about 6,000 miles since. I am looking at increasing the power of my 300ZX. i currently have a Scarab exhaust (Z Centre) Plus a Stillen Air filter (which does not fit very well). I have spoken to a company called Hyper SR (http://www.hypersr.com) They recommended the following mods: HKS front mounted intercooler De-cat pipes Iridium plugs…

Im looking at making the pipe work up for a dual intake there are so many variations though :headvswal I have to trust intakes ready to go on just got to figure out what else i need. I have read that people use two MAF sensors why do this? looking at pictures all i need to do is make two 90 degree bends adapt the maf to one then the filter, then weld a tube to the equal lenght as the maf for the other side. This right  thanks

I know that most people go for proprietry exhaust names (like Mongoose  ) but I've heard some good things about Powerflow exhausts. Plus they're guaranteed for the duration you own the car. This will be my first upgrade :hyper: ETU (Estimated Time to Upgrade!) 2 months. So... anyone have any views ??? Mark

This kit is NOT for on-road use. It is intended to be a clean solution for removing the EGR system on race-built, race-tuned engines. -------------------------------- This quote above is from Concept Z performance http://www.czp.us/Cart/description.php?II=543&Car_Type=300&UID= I guess there are legal reasons that they have to put this on. But can someone tell me the down sides to removing the EGR system ?

I just took of my standard wheels and put a set of (used) 17 inch ones on.  When I was tightening the nuts, the locking ones seemed to get tight-ish then not get any tighter even though I kept turning them, so I stopped as I didn’t want to damage the threads or anything. Does this sound OK or should I have kept turning them until they were hard to move, like I did with the other four regular nuts on each wheel? Cheers Tim

  19. been having blue smoke on overrun lately, thought it was the valve stem oil seals, but had a look inside my plennum and its got some oil in the bottom pcv's i hear you all say, well they were replaced bout 500 miles ago, new hoses too, am i right in saying its not the valve stem oils seals as there would be no oil in the plennum if it was the valves as the oil would leak straight from the valves to the cylinders!! SO WHAT ELSE COULD THIS BE?? :headvswal i have been told by a mechanic who used to work on rally cars that if the engine is breathing too heavy I.E the air filters are too efficient that it can cause some oil too be drawn into the breath…

When I picked up my Z TT it had new Michelin MXF Sport 225/50R16's.Now,2000 miles later most of the centre section of both rear tyres has worn right down.Still some rubber on the edges. The pressures are 36.I know I've had many amazing burnoffs but is this kind of wear normal? Also is there a harder wearing tyre reccomended for the Z32?
